Bottom line is, the Wii has a great library, and quite a unique one at that. People love it, some people don't wanna even look at it because they need their block buster, blockhead violence.trugs26
Agreed. There are some games that I have that many 'gamers' may not like, but I enjoyed every minute of them. I used the term 'gamers' loosely since a 'gamer' must appreciate all games no matter how they look or play (IMO of course). Let's not forget that some multiplat games on the Wii have scored better than those on the 360 and PS3. I actually prefer unique games instead of having to rehash a gamepad. That is one of the reasons I got a Wii in the first place; its unique style of gaming. Sure, I could've lived if Nintendo went with a new gamepad instead but that does get old after a while of mindless button mashing.
O.o You know what, I'm going to stop trying. The Wii is complete garbage. FACT And nothing anyone can say will change that.hexashadow13
The one thing I hate about SW is when posters try to give their opinions as facts. No one should try to force their opinions (or beliefs for that matter) onto anyone else.
Let's just have a nice (maybe) fun debate on this topic and try to keep a level-head when we all try to post our replies (hmmm)?
It sounds like you need to send your Wii in for repairs. You can either call Nintendo and explain your problem, or you can go to Nintendo Online Customer Service to look for your problem and see what your solutions are.
new only played for a few days and it just happened to me today and im recieving the same message as you

If it's new then yours may be defective. Try buying the disk cleaner first before you try sending it in.
I've had the Wii for a few days now and today I got this message for the second time. When I insert a disc it tells me there's an error and I have to restart the console. The discs are all brand new. What's causing this?BourneEnemy01
Is the message saying to remove the game, turn off the console, an consult the manual?
If so, I'm having the same problem except my Wii is a 5 year old one and I assume that it needs cleaning. Something I intend to do in the morning.
Is your system new or used?
[QUOTE="Action_Player"]my wii was doing this exact same thing. my drive was also noisy. It started slow and random and about a week and a half later it would no longer play anything. The drive was shot. WIth nintendo, in the US, it's $10 shipping + $75 to fix or repair your wii. you would then get a new one year warranty. I bought a replacement drive for $50 and put it in myself, but note that this also requires a special tri wing screwdriver and ideally some experience at building computers.I just had a recent problem with my Wii and would like some help in fixing it. Now my Wii is a near launch Wii and I had no problems with it (except for the usual glitch) until recently. I was playing MG 2 when I get a message saying to eject the game, turn the power off, and consult the manual. This has happened several times when I was playing and it also happened when I tried MG and PunchOut. It also hasn't been cleaned since I had it and some help is much appreciated.
PS I haven't contacted Nintendo just yet and it happened before I updated to the new 4.3 and it still persists.

The only game that makes my drive extremely noisey is MySims, but I haven't played it in years. I'll try cleaning it first before I fill out the repair form. Question to those you are now reading this post: Do Nintendo send you something to send it in? I've read that they send you some sort of return address but the FAQ they have is still unclear to me.
That is what I intend to do tomorrow and it seems to still work for the GC games, but I did play them long enough to test to see if it's not a disk drive problem.

They start showing up after you collect the first 4 starts of either Worlds 3 or 4, and I don't think they will show up in a particular galaxy until you get the Medal hidden there. Also, I think you need a certain number of Medals as well as the latter of the previous sentence until they appear.
Well, I'm certainly wrong that it would get a 9, but I'm not disappointed. CC support should have been included, and online leader boards would have been a great addition. Still, it looks like a great title, can't wait to play it!

Why add CC support to a Wii game when you can use the Wiimote or Nunchuck combo? I heavily frown upon the idea of having multiple control schemes for a Wii game where the standard controls for the system have always worked for me. IMO, the CC should be relagated strickly to the VC games. If one was to only use the CC or Gamecube controller for a Wii game should have not gotten a Wii in the first place.
Anyways it's a good score even though it was a little lower than I'd expect it to be. I believe that this game is a contender for Wii GOTY, and it would be a really big fluke if it did win the overall GOTY (I'm not hyping the latter).
