my light is always green...
It used to be red and beeped 3 times when turning off... since buying Oblivion and Resistance it has been green and beeps once...
everything is working fine... what gives?
---LOST---
lol that happend to me onces, it means it's not off. the standby posses didnt work because something was still slightly loading or something, so just keep your TV on after your finnished playing to make sure its off :)
MGS4 may be out by then oh yeah every ps3 owner must own resistance its a unwriten law[QUOTE="footfoe2"][QUOTE="Ipik_Fenris"]getting my ps3 around april, and the first game im getting will be warhawk..wich 2 should i add ??? i like all kind of genres ( except for Oblivion, UT 3 games) and im renting uncharted, HS, R&C....so what do you say ???Ipik_Fenris
MGS4 is a must buy yeah , (resistance 2 will come some later on, so ill pass it up )but im debating from those...
Burnout Paradise
Assassins Creed
Fifa Street 3
GT 5
GTA IV
:?
uncharted and HS are pretty short, so they are a good rental and a good experience, i would say Burnout Paradise. I just got it and i cant put it down, and from what i've heard, its very long. Too bad you dont like oblivion, its a great game, give that one a rent too, because it is great, and chances are that you will eventually like it if you put some time into it. and another game you should get is Rock Band, extreamly fun. Possibly GTA IV, but i find GTA games repetative after a while. MGS4 as well, obviously, but thats all i can really think of now, i hope i helped :)
and Hazelnutman, this is a good idea, dont listen to patsfan4liferjn
I imported a white DS3 for my PS3 and it works great, feels great, and looks great. khron0248
im wondering how heavy it is because i really like the light Sixaxis

[QUOTE="Ad-2cool4u"][QUOTE="Ad-2cool4u"][QUOTE="jyoung312"]I actually read that the 4th dimension in games has to deal with the real time deformation of textures over time and stress like how the mud changes in motorstorm. Well one could argue if we say that games that have a time mechanic like Prince of Persia show the 4th dimension time but you can only manipulate it by replaying events or slowing events as they happen without the ability to change what happens a la time shift. Either way if 4d refers to deformable real life textures then the ps3 is certainly capable of producing 4d graphics in games like Motorstorm with track deformationmr_so_evil
i actually remeber reading about the 4th dimention in video games and its just a littel different. Its more like rust than mud because mud can be moved in an instant whereas rust takes time to form, thus putting into videogames the 4th dimention. but that was very very close :) you had the right idea;)
and i forgot to say that the actually deffenition for 4D in games would be the effects of time on objects, people, and nature. so objects would rust or whatever else they do like i already said, people would get old, and nature would have naturl disasters, there would be seasons, moutains would become more rounded off when it rained. The game would basically have to change its map or area constantly over time. that would be very cool but then you couldnt play it as long as you wanted to, cause you would have a lifespan. well have to iron that out when we come to it :D...
Unless you are planning on playing the game for 60 years I see no problem.
 true :)
