Very excited for this. If this turns out to be anything like Halo 3 and not like Reach, I'll be very happy for the next few years.

That is suposed to be the best looking 360 game?

Doesnt even come close to Gears 3. Unchrted 3 is out of the question.

I don't believe anyone thinks that. Most people know Gears is the Xbox's number 1.

Now will all that talent actually move the gameplay forward or will we get another Halo. jg4xchamp
The majority of people who buy Halo games over and over, are looking for just another Halo. They're merely looking to have a good time, and not attempt to play the unbalanced mess that was Halo Reach.

Why is such a question even being asked?

PillyChickle

Because people **** and complain about it on the internet, when out in the real world the majority couldn't care less, and Sony and MS clearly realized that awhile ago. BC only makes for nice marketing when people need some last minute justification for a new console purchase, and then it stops receiving support after maybe 2-3 years.

If the cell processor goes away, then say goodbye to PS3 BC on PS4.

gears on insane is pretty easy, same with uncharted on crushing except id say uncharted is a lil harder since the enemies toss more grenades making you leave coverTH1Sx1SxSPARTA
I would love a video of you doing the last boss in Gears 3 on Insane, with less then 5 deaths. Then go about bragging it's easy. Never seen a cover system fail so miserably on that boss.

Never. I may take breaks for a few years here and there if I don't like the audience the developers and console manufacturers are catering too. Actually nvm, I probably qui the day I die.

Well I hope more devs next gen build their own unique engines, I don't want more look alike games using the unreal engine.

edo-tensei

This is the opposite of where the market trend is going.

As it becomes more and more important to have very refined, highly complex engines to tackle higher end hardware ANd multple platforms, it will continue to become more and mroe common place for studios to license existing engines, and for comapnies that focus ONLY on creating game engines to florish.

Why spend 2+ years, a ton of money, and a ton of resources to create an engine when you can license one and start creating your game righ away?

Well, just for the sake of the ultimate creative freedom, just saying.

Unfortunately "just saying" doesnt guarantee a company a profitable 4 year project. I'd sooner see more games every year like this gen, then extend that period by twice as long. I also don't seem to remember these look alike games that you're referring to, Bioshock, Gears of war, Mass Effect, Batman AA/AC, Mortal Kombat, Lost Odyssey, Borderlands, Mirror's Edge, any many others were all unique lookng games.

Now if you meant an artsyle like Zelda, Slycooper, Ratchet and Clank, and Mario, then that's a different story. Those games tailor to a specific audience and genre (platformer, third person).

Only release date that is relevant to Kingdom Hearts is when KH 3 is going to get released god dammit.

Still good news. 3DS will have a steady influx of titles all throughout Summer I imagine.

You wont understand a damn thing. The handhelds are important

You're an idiot if you believe that.https://docs.google.com/a/ucdavis.edu/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&srcid=0B8cPyvE2GTjOMzE4MTVlZTctMjE5Yi00YzAzLWJjZTAtZTllODY2OTc2MTMx&hl=en_US&pli=1

There, sums up everything in the series. Now no one needs to waste their time on lowbudget spin-offs.

Easily DD. It's undeniably the future, whether it be next gen, or 50 years from now. Not going to deny change simply for the sake of denying it.
