IMO it's not about age, gamers are gamers no matter how old you are and there's nothing wrong with that. It's about your interests in the games themselves and how those interests change as you grow older. Some (like me) start to care less and less about games as their main source of entertainment as they age and some don't. Preference.

I still have the original cart of Mario All-Stars for my SNES and after hearing how it's just more or less a direct port I'd rather avoid the Wii game at all costs. It's more a game for the late 90's generation of kids who grew up purely on Mario 64 and beyond IMO.

I use walkthroughs whenever I wanna get "rid" of a game as fast as I can (sell it), I'm more of a story-driven person when it comes to games nowadays and I could care less about the challenge. No big deal.

I dunno if this counts given I was 14 at the time but both Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy VIII amazed me back when they were new. The former for the movie-like suspense quality it projected and the latter for how gorgoeus and immense the quest was.

Just max out the characters main spheres after every expansion, some bosses actually require that in order for you to stand a chance. Done deal.

Saw it twice last week, and in terms of music the 2nd time I saw it I walked out right after the club scene. Yeah I wanted to hear that track on that sound system with the mindblowing bass again that badly and it was worth it. Nuff said.

Now going through Megaman X Colllection and just beat X1-3. Still got 4-6. (then Megaman Zero collection then the ZX games)

DJ-Lafleur

Megaman X4, oh boy where do I start with the praise for that game? I bought MMX Collection 5 years ago or so just for it and I shed a few tears playing the game with Zero (have it for Saturn and it'd been 7 years since I last played). It's the best MMX game hands down.

The last retro games I played were the Sly trilogy, beat all of them.

All flash and no substance.

+1 for Robot Rock (I flashed the pyramid when it came on LOL!) and the infamous line "I want my borrd! (bird)"

That's about it.
