I mean, when he first started out he sang meaningful songs about the ghetto, poverty and loliness. I was really into his music back then. But once the first miliions came rolling in he immediately sold out and shifted to Gangsta Hip-Hop topics (Bling, Sex... etc). Seriously, WTF ?

well, i just want to know what you decide to read based by others' comments and to let me know if you liked it. I too would like to dabble in manga since I'm not well versed in manga eitherLaserwolf65
Well actually I didn't start this thread to get recommendations, I'm just a fan who wanted to start a Manga discussion focused on non-mainstream stuff. I'm pretty knowledgable outside of the field's mainstream somewhat so if you want just take the series I mentioned in the OP and give them a go. I myself don't need any recommendations.
I thought you may have enjoyed the movie, because the ending wasn't quite a happy ending.After_Math
I don't remember the ending, I don't even remember the plot LOL!
Let me know when what you decide and if it was good.Laserwolf65
Huh?
GTAwoody0495
Which one?
The anime had its own plotAfter_Math
They have the same plot until you know who gets the axe. After that the plots seperated due to the fact that the Anime caught up with the Manga. The Manga's plot is overall better but the Anime's ending is better IMO. Forget the movie, I only saw it because I was curious.
Just curious, were you a fan of the movie, FMA: Conqueror of Shamballa?After_Math
I saw it years ago and I can't remember enough to really judge. But I recall by then I was shifting more to Manga and didn't see the movie as something worthy of a follow-up. Felt like a cash-in.
Alenjandro made it obvious she just takes whatever she grew up with music-wise and finds innovative ways to "build" on them. We're the same age and from the moment I heard Just Dance the vibe reminded me of old Eurodance mixed with modern House/Electro Hip-Hop. For starters Alejandro is an obvious homage/rip-off of Ace of Base material and her looks/videos are heavily inspired from late 80's/early 90's Madonna.
How was the FMA ending lackluster? I thought it was perfect. It was much better than the original anime ending at least.gamertylers
I dunno it was too "happy ending"~ish for me. I hate it when writers cave in to what the fans would expect from an ending and just wrap it up just the way they'd like it (MGS4 comes to mind). There should've been more twists because the ending became obvious by the time they started battling you know who.
I would also recommend I"s, Suzuka, Ichigo 100%wolverine4262
I've read all those mentioned. And yeah, that's why I like Adachi's stuff, it's full of romantic plots that would put a TV Drama to shame IMO.
