I loved the game more for its mechanics and fast-paced action than its story, it's really nothing to brag about. Most watered down FF plot I've ever witnessed. Another thing that got to my nerves was the camera, it just would lean left and right whenever you moved. Though I will say time and time again that XIII is the redemption from the fail that was XII. Bottomline, it's good but kinda over-hyped (even though I personally enjoyed it alot).
I mean, in the past I figured it was an in-justice that it didn't see the light of day. But after looking more throughly at images and clips of the beta I'm really glad it got canned. I dunno I feel like the technology wasn't there yet. I had alot of fun with 3D Blast on my Saturn back in the day and I don't think Xtreme would've served the same purpose if you will. I believe that it would've been a flop similar to Bubsy 3D.
I had an Atari 2600 but it was thrown out with the trash once it broke, I don't remember it much because I was 4 back then, just static images or "5 second" clips of my older brother playing it.
I have a broken MSX computer which I still own, it's somewhere in the storage.
As far as traveling back home, I'm not sure where you live, but gamestop is a corporate company, if you buy a game at a store in Colorado, you can return it to a store in New York.

Seems to me that you're either making the stuff you said at the OP up or you really have a hard time defining what a relationship is to you. The making-out is the obvious reason alone, I dunno about you but I think she has every right to be pissed.
