Demon's Souls is as cheap as Ninja Gaiden 2 to be honest.Zerocrossings

And that's exactly why I'm never gonna touch it. It's not worth wrecking your nerves over.

It went back and worth from bad to "acceptable" for me, the bulk of the enjoyment in the game came from the day levels. But the final boss was again pretty cheap. They just can't balance the difficulty, it's either too easy or insanely tough.

this game has the definitive, most flawless, rpg battle system, out of any game out there on the market.Megaman5364

And that's all it's got going for it IMO. But at the same time it's what made me love it. If it wasn't for the battle system and the (intrumental) music tracks the game would've been a disaster on par with FFXII for me. The story starts out good but ends up in an identity crisis and falls into the oldest gimmick in the book, cliches. The ending made me feel indifferent with no sense of accomplishment towards the plot, only the boss battle itself.

All in all, the structure worked perfectly but the "cosmetics" (story, setting, plot predictability..etc) fell flat on their face. But again the boss battles were satisfying in terms of accomplishment, so I ended up enjoying the game overall.

PSX - Metal Gear Solid

Xbox - Shenmue II

PS3 - GTA4, MGS4, FFXIII

Wii - Zelda TP, Mario Galaxy (which made me lose hope in future Mario innovations)

Timeline-wise it goes like this:

Metal Gear Solid 3 ----> MGS Portable Ops ----> MGS Peace Walker ----> Metal Gear (MSX) ----> Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake ----> Metal Gear Solid ----> MGS2 ----> MGS: Rising ----> MGS4

So if you wanna follow the timeline (which I'd recommend) get Portable Ops first.

Me and little bro were "tear~ish" after beating Kingdom Hearts back in the day, we just didn't want it to end. I also felt kinda bummed when I beat Kingdom Heart II. I guess it's the thought of having to wait years over a sequel, I wish I didn't have to.

Megaman: Maverick Hunter X

Daxter

Ace Combat X

The list goes on and on. Pick what's best for you based on what genre you enjoy most. I'd go for RPGs on a roadtrip or a plane ride.

MGS: Peace Walker

Star Ocean 2

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

All those will take you awhile to finish, especially Star Ocean 2 .
