I don't blame you TC, I'm not even thinking of touching it given its difficulty. No reason to feel bad about it, it's only a game.

In terms of an experience with the entire package I'd have to say Kingdom Hearts takes the cake. 2nd place is the first Phoenix Wright.

Alot of people might disagree or maybe even not notice this but DQ is more catered to the hardcore RPG niche audience and seems too grinding and complex to a degree for RPG gamers of casual interest. That's my experience with it anyway (including chats with friends who play a ton of RPGs).

Final Fantasy VII, VII, IX.

And Super Castlevania 4.

Zerocrossings
All of them can easily be played on today's PCs, but I'm not saying more than that.

IMO it's not. Unleashed takes the cake.

Ok so as some of you might know I have a fondness for Sonic games (even though I didn't really grow up with them back in the day). Throughout this year I've played every Sonic game that's been released this gen (including all the Wii games). Well to get to the point, I recently beat Sonic Unleashed and enjoyed it alot (best 3D Sonic game to date IMO) and thought I had played them all. Then I notice the Sonic next-gen game that was released way back at the start of this gen which I hadn't seen much of other than the cover art, so I got intrigued. a couple of days ago I passed by the local gaming store to check up on the games I had up for sale and the clerk informed me that 2 games were sold (UC1 and 2 if you're curious) with a grand total of 60$ (give or take a few bucks). As I waited for the clerk to get my money I browsed the used PS3 games shelf and noticed Sonic next-gen on sale for 26$ (give or take). I caved in I had the clerk deduct that amount of money from my grand sale total to get the game. I get home, pop it in and I'm dealing with its issues pretty well, the "city" aspects I can handle. But it went all wrong when the first stage began. My god he's so slow, no wonder Unleashed got so much positive feedback with the day stages. Sonic's running on next-gen is a snail's pace compared to Unleashed. So yeah, I still wanna spend some time with the game but the "slow speed" is a turn-off. Might consider using a save file to see if there are any cheat goodies just so that I can get my money's worth outta it. Is there an extra feature like that? If there isn't then I guess I'll just put it up for sale with the same price once I visit the store again. What do you consider to be your dumbest gaming decision this year? Mine's this Sonic story while 2nd place goes to buying Madworld at full-price.

No it's not, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona is.siLVURcross
Um, it's a port of a game that was released back in the beginning of the 32-bit era. I still have the EGM issue from Febraury '96 with the mini strategy guide.
