I don't remember much but I was in 3rd grade and came home to the news and I was kind of confused at the time as to what was going on since my parents didn't want me watching live footage of the tragedy. So I snuck on the computer and read news about it and I cried a bit since we have family in the area but we were told they were alright. It was still horrible to hear all the stories coming out of this but for every tragedy I heard there was something of hope and the human spirit rising up to help one another.
No no I meant if there are so many alternatives, people would go out and buy those instead of Mac computers.
If you look at the Windows:Mac ratio it's true but their marketing and brand power are what leads them, I guess. You don't just magically conjure up a brand name as powerful as Apple and it takes time with *gasps* quality products. They're a niche product just like, say, a Ferrari or a Rolls Royce.
And curse you Game for that long response :lol: I don't feel like typing that much to reply. :(
Apple prices their products based on supply and demand and who can blame them? They're raking in a ton of money. You people would do the same thing if you were in Stevo Jobs' position to maximize products. Don't like their products? Don't buy them. If there's so many alternatives then Apple would be out of business by now, wouldn't they? Riiiiight. It's that simple and I'm not even close to being a fan of Apple's products outside of the iPod.
