Sony needs to lower the price and get some better games out for the PS3. Right now the price just isn't competative to the other consoles, especially considering the games that are out. I don't care how advanced the hardware for the PS3 is supposed to be or how future proof the system is, at this point, the PS3 is over priced. Even having the extra $600, there are other things I would rather spend the money on than a PS3. The lack of decent games for the PS3 just makes the system even more overpriced. At this point , there are no PS3 exclusive games that I want to play badly enough to get me to go out and buy a PS3, even at a much lower price. By the time there are some good PS3 exclusives out in the stores, I'm guessing the price will have dropped anyway. The combination of high price and lack of games mean that the PS3 just isn't worth buying at this point. Maybe in a few months, but not right now.
