1. Next month I move to Japan to live there for a year. 2. I only found out about the above a few hours ago. 3. I have misplaced my pants.

[QUOTE="t3hrubikscube"]I use Facebook, and I honestly see no problem with that. I'm not self-absorbed, I'm not dumbing myself down, etc. I'm merely keeping in touch with people.Doom_HellKnight
Exactly this.

Ditto.

Am I the only one?

Being born into a disciplined family I was taught to be selfless, humble and non-egocentric.

In contrast, most of todays young view themselfs as self-important "superstars" via their own personal webspace.

Does anyone else see society becoming more and more self-absorbed with all this virtual vainness?

Not having a Facebook instantly makes you non-egocentric?

If done right. The iPhone is really nice, but a lot of the phones that tried to imitate it are very slow and unresponsive. I much prefer the clickity click of buttons, though.

Depends on the zombies. If they're the slow, shuffling, Resident Evil type then I'll be happy with a Spas-12; if they're the fast moving, 28 Days Later type I'd rather have an assault rifle like the FAMAS.

I love them. My favourite songs are In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, Always and Never, and The Running Free. I do have a very soft spot for the final tracks of Good Apollo, like The Telling Truth and The Final Cut.
