Wait, what?

If I compile a Windows executable I can get it to work on a Mac? :?

GabuEx

In a roundabout way, yeah; especially if you know what you're doing. I got Oblivion and Team Fortress 2 working in Ubuntu using Wine.

Well, OK, yeah, there's Wine, but that's basically just a reimplementation of Windows APIs, so you're practically just putting Windows on top of your OS with that.

Yeah, but in a free OS like Ubuntu that's a godsend. If alls that's tying you down to Windows are the games, something like Wine can be all that's needed to make the switch. I personally love the look and feel of Mac OSX; and with Steam for Mac now in full swing I am fully prepared to make the switch...once I save up enough money. :P

I still don't understand the choice of Chris Evans as Captain America.

See... Outlawing guns and not selling them to people doesn't prevent people from getting and using them... So all you people who want to outlaw guns in the US... STFU... Maybe if one of those killed or injured was carrying he or she could have ended the ordeal right as it started... But no... No weapons for self defense in the UK.

Yeah, arm the general public in case of something like this. I mean the last one only happened in 1987. I'm assuming you've never watched Jeremy Kyle before, so I'll let you off for now...for now.

[QUOTE="blackngold29"]Tablets will kill netbooks... and then laptops. Whether you like it or not, it's what the guys who actually make the things believe. When Jobs has one, Gates was using one years ago, and Google is working on one... yeah they're coming. I fell like I have to defend this thing daily in OT. Yes, it's a bigger iTouch, but if I gave you the option between a 4 inch TV and a 64 inch TV which one are you taking? But oh, it's the same thing only bigger! The size itself is seriously underestimated. It doesn't have a keyboard? Uh, yeah it does.

When I was in High School it was hand writing recognising Palmtops that would dominate the market. Then it was Zip Drives and Sony Minidiscs that were going to replace CDs. No-one can predict what is going to be the next big thing in technology and pushing a lot of money isn't a guaranteed win; such as the big push towards 3D TVs. As for the TV analogy, that would only work if you had a separate product that did more than both 4" and 64" TVs and for cheaper...like a monitor that dispensed bacon.

Is the iPad any good? Yes, I would say so. Is it worth the money? No, not by a long shot.

Judging by his Twitter I'm guessing it's Red Dead Redemption today. I could be wrong.

TBH most things that say they dont work with macs do, you may have to fiddle around with some files or drivers but it will work just fine.

[QUOTE="AirGuitarist87"][QUOTE="Justinge3"]Trap? So these things a Completely FAKE? Well then this should really be reported. There are options to pay REAL money to get those coins. This Friend Pulse app should be illegal.Justinge3
Well when you look at it, they're giving you the option to spend real money on fake coins in order to find out what a friend has said. Or you can just directly ask said friend. Hell, you don't even need Facebook; pick up the phone and get dialling.

But he said he Never opened up the app itself. So this app could just be generating fake answers from other peoplem, and people pay real cash to find these out...Thats not right, if true

I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm pointing out the inanity in paying real money for something you can find out for free with less hassle. Probably more in depth too. I've had that done several times with spam emails back in college asking me to sign up to their websites because of Friend X. When I asked Friend X directly they told me they've never heard of it. Send to Junk. Problem solved.
