I live in Japan. Every time I'm out with anyone who even looks Asian, if I ask a waiter/staff/human being a question, then will 75% answer to them instead of me. Watching my supervisor going typing Google into the Google searchbar in order to search for Yahoo! in order to search for a YouTube video. All the mean time NEVER using the scrollwheel. Having to still use chalk in the classroom. Damn dust allergy. Banks that are open from 9am to 3pm. Just who are their customers? People that have an answer for everything, especially rhetorical questions, and insist on informing everyone why they are right when we have 1 min left of this meeting. Seriously, don't care, it's Friday and no-one has been listening for the past 10 mins anyway.

Sonic 3 and Knuckles. Sonic 2 is great too but Sonic 3&K was the overall better game. I don't know how many times I would replay and beat it over and over again. Plus playing as Knuckles was a lot of fun.

Took the words out of my mouth. Sonic 3 & Knuckles was the best.

As a kid growing up around Mario and Sonic, Sonic 3 is the one that myself and all my sonic loving friends thought was lousy. I feel the same way today. The game just doesn't feel like Sonic. The flow of the game is different. I wouldn't be surprised if a different group of people worked on it--especially the art direction. Where the first two games really succeeded on shape and color theory, the third is just downright lousy.

Really? I loved Sonic 3, namely for the save system. At the time I could have sworn it was voodoo magic. The whole game felt very polished to me, maybe not as streamlined as the other games but I feel it was the best out of Sonic 1-3.

I lived at home til I was 22. Was pretty awesome, sometimes when I come home and there's all sorts of crappy housework to do I think back to those times. Makes you about 500% more grateful to your parents than you ever were.

It's not just cgi to me it seems. It almost seems like anime today is nothing but a bunch of schoolgirls.

I remember back in the day when liking anime made you nerd. Now-a-days it seems you'd be considered a pedophile. :/

josephl64
that's just comedies and romances...they have more variety now like Steins; Gate for instance

Not really. Nearly every show I've watched tonight has had at least 1 schoolgirl in full uniform. And I'm not even watching the anime channel.

I've heard of this "Number 2" rule on Lifehacker. Answer the phone in 2 seconds, reply to texts in 2 mins, reply to emails in 2 days. I dunno how much it works, though. I would recommend to set yourself goals.

So that makes for about, 350k 3DS units with thanksgiving week to go? Wow.

I'm thinking 1.5 million for Nov/Dec worldwide.

Seriously, Monster Hunter 3G, Mario Kart 7 in December is going to be very interesting.

I'd like to see more 3DS titles in the top 20, but it will pick up with MK7, Tekken 3D, Metal Gear Solid, Kingdom Hearts, Heroes of Ruin, Resident Evil, Kid Icarus between now and Spring in Japan.

I'm calling 425k in Japan for November, and at least 400k again in December. That should (with NA/EU) put the 3DS around 11-12 million units worldwide before new years day, and about 15 million by the time its 1 year birthday comes up.

How much did the DS sell between November 2004 and November 2005?

Monster Hunter will sell nearly ANYTHING in Japan, though. That stuff is like legal crack.
