Bucky FINISHED for the second time

I finished Buck Rogers. For the 2nd time! Awesome. It is really a cool game. I also Played a lot of Fire Emblem on the GBA and that is also a good game. Nice.

I also tried Jet grind radio that I bought a while back on the GBA. I don't really like the controls, but it looks cool enough.

Buck Rogers

At the moment, a lot of Buck Rogers going on. I'm on my way to finish off the doomsday device for the second time. I played the game on the c-64, but I find the Genesis version more fun. I've actually completed the game once already a few years back on the Genesis. I never finished the game on the c64 even though I bought BOTH the cassette and disk versions.

The Nemesis Strikes! Bazooka of Death!

So, I played a lot of Buck Rogers. I also played Medal of Honour; European assault at my buddies house. The multiplayer is AWESOME. Now, if it only had a co-op mode like Delta force Black Hawk Down it would have been perfect. There are a lot of different types of multi player like capture the flag, death match, nemesis (cool idea) and blowing up each others bases. TRON, Desert Strike and Advance wars also got to shareafewhours.

Stockpiling Games For The Weekend

I have been playing TRON alot lately and the old Fallout had to take a backseat for a while but my wife is going back to the village and I'm staying behind. Aahh. I have already piled up a few Genesis games and I have the beer on cooling already, It will be a great weekend. Desert strike, Best of the best, The Terminator. I also dug out a few other games; Star flight, Buck Rogers and Outrun 2019! I will probably play alot of TRON and Fallout too.

I am also playing Fire Emblem on the GBA. Just started. Looks awesome so far. I bought it basically because it's from Intelligent, who made Advance wars.

Come on guys! Dive for cover, they'll spot us. C'mon! Hurry. Crouch! Lie down!

I installed Tron 2.0 on my laptop since a friend of mine lent me his game. He wanted to try the multiplayer. I wasn't interested in playing the campaign mode at first, but I took a look at it just to learn the controls and the story got me! As a big fan of the movie, I thought the game looked cool enough and I started playing the campaign. I also played another map with Kanbei as my commanding officer in Advance wars. I also experienced some warfare in Columbia, courtesy of the Team Sabre add-on for DFBHD. I finished one mission in the Columbian campaign. Man, that's some bad A.I. right there. In one of the missions, Jungle Raid I think. You hide on a boat and are taken downstream by a civilian local. The team mates just won't lie down to avoid detection! I am of course lying down to make sure I'm not seen by the guards at the river bank but my buddies just stand there and get detected. Damn.

Digging for pits to fight in

I dug up Pit fighter for the Genesis (the Master system will have to take a rest now after my third completion of Phantasy star) and started playing. So far, my favorite fighter is Buzz, the ex-wrestler.I also completed the Campaign in Advance wars. After that, I unlocked Kanbei and started to play one of the bought missions.

I didn't play any Fallout though.

Back at the library

So, I went back to the boneyard and Katja kept telling me "Nicole told us to return as soon as we left the cathedral". Sigh. So I went back to the library/base of the FOTA and tried to ask Nicole (the boss) about what to do. Nothing. When I asked for Laura she only told me that she was a true FOTA and true to the cause or something to that effect. I tried to go to the brotherhood to do some sneaking around and to try to get to the bottom with if they have anything to do with the missing caravans but the entrance looked like a freaking fortress and the two guards outside were packed to the teeth and had strong armor so I went back to the Hub, ran into some Rad-scorpions. It was pretty cool to see Katja fight them with kicks and punches, but I decided to give her my 44. Eagle Gun. At the hub, I decided to go for another caravan ride. We got one right away but this time we also arrived safely in the boneyard. On the way back to the Hub we actually ran into some raiders so we got to fight some.

I play advance wars as well, I just can't stop playing that game. And it's easy to play since it's hand held, while the wife is sleeping.

Laura, the lost soul

So , I went to try to kill some death claws again and died. This time with both Katja and me fighting them. I went around the Adytum searching for that damned church but couldn't find it. What I DID find was Miles, the guy that Katja told me about earlier. He was working on some kind of unit that produces food and asked me to find some parts for it. Sure, why not? I spoke to the leader of the group called Scavengers, or Scav. He told me one of his guys had found the equipment but is MIA. So I went off to the death claws and, using my sneak skill, I evaded them and found the dead body of the Scav that was sent on this mission before me. I found the techno-junk on his dead person and I evaded the two death claws roaming around the ruins and back to miles. He was very grateful and he promised me that if I would ever need a weapon or an armor enhanced he and the local smith, called Smitty (of course)would help me out. Interesting. Anyways, first things first. I went outside the Boneyard and there it was! The cathedral had appeared on my map as a choice of travel. I went there and found a couple of "monks" and teenagers and some other people. No one called Laura though. I couldn't walk to the north and as I entered the cathedral I couldn't keep walking. No visible hinder, just the red X. I tried to say "red rider" to everyone I could find but nothing happened. Annoying. Now, what am I going to do? Back at the Hub, I heard someone speak about Super mutants. Maybe he was talking about the creatures I met in Necropolis before? I could always try to go back to Necropolis and see what I can find.

Lassic, Dark Falz killed. Top gear revisited

New year holiday then… I went off to my in-laws' village. If any of you had that feeling of summer-place gaming, where you go to some cottage with your parents and you have a feeling of isolation hanging over you and during the evenings you play on your master system you brought (against your dad's will)? I just had that same feeling! A few years later though…Anyway, I finished Phantasy star, the first game, for the third time in my life. This time I used maps from the internet for the Dezoris caves though. And, to be honest, the Baya Malay dungeon. And while I was still in an SMS craze, I decided to play through the "Ace" mission in G-loc. I SHOULD have gone to sleep after my 4 hour session with Phantasy star but… On Friday, I played a lot of Advance wars on the GBA. I also decided to start playing Desert strike again on the Genesis. I never completed that game but now I will give it a shot again. Saturday night saw more Advance wars and Best of the best (It's always nice with some full-contact championship karate) also on the genesis (like Desert strike). During the day of Saturday, me, my wife, a local kid and my sister-in-law benched ourselves in front of the family TV playing Top gear on the Snes. Incredibly fun! Sunday then, well , I woke up early and played some Advance wars and some Best of the best, then we played a couple of more races of Top gear. I didn't play any Fallout, since I didn't bring the computer to the village (the car was full of alxxxol, gaming consoles, Thai stuff (?) and various camping equipment) but I will try to take care of the Children of the Cathedral guys during the week. Phew, Lenny Blade signing out for now.
