Well, is the E6600 2.4ghz @ 1066mhz processor that much better? That is the only one that can keep me under my 3k preferred budget w. the same specs as the 5790 in the 9260.

It uses the actual desktop Core 2 Duos, which are quite a bit better than their laptop counterparts.Hiryuu_

Yea but that processor will chug juice like a fat kid. I want something that is portable, hence the 5790

Is laptop technology going to get alot better or cheaper before late august (when school starts up again)? I am asking because I think I might just order my Sager now.

It is configured as:

Sager 5790
17" (1920 x 1200)
Intel Core Duo T7700 / 4mb L2 Cache, 2.4ghz, 800mhz
Go 7950 GTX 512
2GB DDR2 @ 667mhz
200gb Harddrive @ 7200 rpm
8x dvd-r/rw
lithium-ion battery
vista ultimate

Price: $2,809

This notebook seems to be perfect for me as my desktop replacement. I looked around and Sager makes some great stuff. So what do you guys think?

Contact Microsoft Technical Support and they'll walk you through it. Go to the xbox360.com website to find the number.

PSU is a very important part of your pc. You don't want to underpower your components. If you are trying to cut cornings, the power supply is not the area. It is better to have a higher rated psu than not enough power.
Look to cut corners on something like the case.

No offense, but just get a x1950 or a used xbox 360 for your gaming.

You get a performance increase by having two video cards working together to increase your graphic processing capabilities. SLI is NVidia's form, and crossfire is ATI's form. Also, the GTX is better than the GTS in performance, but the GTS is a better bang for your buck.
