However, due to a crippling FIFA addiction I still want a PS4. If the WiiU was as good a console for new FIFA games as the PS4/XBONE then I would be buying one right now. As it is I don;t mind waiting til after christmas with fingers crossed for the consoles to start dropping in price

I still have a gold live account, mostly for playing FIFA online, and the 2 free 360 games a month have been very rewarding. A lot of multiplats that you might have played, but generally the quality is good.

Also, if you never had an original Xbox i'd get a copy of Panzer Dragoon Orta off ebay.

I owned my original for 7 years - had the RRoD once, but it was within warranty and MS replaced the console free of charge. It has recently given up the ghost completely but i agree, the RRoD hasn't been a problem on 360s for a long time now

also, what's the latest on NOLF getting a digital release?

I have never had the chance to play it, and have been waiting for it to come out on GOG for ages. Most anticipated GOG release since System Shock 2

My original white 360 with jet engine cooling fans sadly succumbed to old age last night. A good 7 years of service, but it had started to fall apart anyway with only one of the USB ports still functioning and the disc tray not working unless the weight of a disc was left in at all times.

As the One does not do backwards compatibility and I still have loads of 360 games I'd rather play than splash out on a PS4/XBONE, I am getting a new xbox 360.

Just looking for opinion on the latest model.

I'm sure i'll notice a big step up, as my old one had the aforementioned jet engine cooling and lacked things like wifi.
