when do u guys think xbox live will be free and the legendary map pack. sice the mythic map pack is already out then maybe the legendary will be free too? because my parents wont allow me to buy xbox live and points.

Monkey_N1nga

i can't see live ever being free to be honest... microsoft wouldn't make much money!

as for the packs, again i don't think they'll b free for a while... should come down in price tho!

this is how to enter a router device settings, i don't know if it works for modems tho!

plug your modem into your computer, open internet explorer/firefox, enter 192.168.1.1 (or maybe 192.168.0.1) into the address (should be one of these two) then activate the DHCP feature.

alternatly buy a cheap router and just plug your modem and xbox into that!

thanks for the reply guys! i'm looking into buying a 700watt psu which should be good enough, for some reason in the UK the jump from 700 - 750 is quite large.

just woundering if theres a way of test for driver conflicts, allow i cheack from driver updates twice a month i just wanna rule drivers out before i spend money on a psu

hey all,

recently my computer has been freezing quite alot, i get no error messages, all that happens is the desktop, applications, mouse, keyboard... EVERYTHING stops responing. its only happen in the last few days and i'm getting concerned.

the only major thing i can think of i've changed recently is the addition of a blu-ray drive and i was thinking it may have something to do with power.

the last time it happened when i restarted the computer fans and hard drives and dvd drives all started up, lots of fans too so they all worked, but there was nothing being displayd on the monitor and no power was going to my usb devices, only when i unplugged the power from one of my dvd drives did it turn on ok.

i gotta 600w power supply and when i try to calculate my power outage it comes to 400w... but i may have calcuated wrong! i got a intel q6600, a nvidia 8800gtx, sound blaster xtreme gamer card, a sata hhd, a external usb hhd, a mouse and keyboard both powered by usb, 2 dvd drives and the blu ray drive.

if anyone has any suggestions of what the issue is i'd really appriciate it!

CoD 4 always fun... i never have an issue with people being bad at a game... hell i suck at most games.... i just hate it when they cheat or use perks that (in my opinion) take the fun out of a game!

i'd say yes... it's definetly worth getting a hard drive! their pretty cheap now and game saves, xbox live, and game updates are apart of this generation.... to get the most out of your system i personally believe you need a hard drive!

i have a 8800gtx and according to the cyberlink BD advisor yes... i have everything to use blu-ray except the blui ray dvd drive and software (obviously cause i haven't brought one yet). i also don't have the hardware dual thingy i mention in the post above... but i don't think thats a requirement to play blu rays.

nut if someone could clarify that would be helpful!
