@Elranzer: I was trying to think of a good quip after I read the article, but this is the most eloquent way of putting it. The man needs to stop being so hyperbolic.
Took him over 2 years to come straight with what his game is. Most of the blame for the fervor around this games goes to Sony and fans being unrealistic, but any time I saw him talk to press he just put on a coy smile and said It's a really big universe, a really big undertaking, and we're all really excited. No hard facts, just allusions.
There shouldn't be any unfinished games released by anyone, including day one patches. It's already band enough without racing to the bottom like this.
@jarobusa: No. Sega's version of this has always had a second controller. I'm not going home to kick my dog over it, but since you can't put more games on it like a real console everything that you will ever need for this product is in that box... except the second controller. I think it's crappy for them to suck another 10 bucks out of someone for something that cost pennies to make.
@cornbredx: I agree. If they just had a 15 second scene with Dan Akroyd saying, "I'm too old for this shit, ladies you take it from here" that would have been perfect. The Force Awakens did that the best, pass the torch, make a smooth transition, doing it like this just shines a light on how all the creative choices they made were money decisions, not creative ones.
