The only time I have bought used game was for older games I couldn't find new. I never went out of my way to get games used just to save 5 dollars, but like this article I am pushed into buying them used just to give these developers the middle finger. EA and Bioware are on my list of "Buy used or not at all" after destroying C&C 4, DA2, and ME3. Then there are companies like Blizzard, Rocksteady, Rockstar, and Bethesda (CD Projekt is pending...bought witcher awhile back still haven't played it) who I will blindly preorder without a second thought because they make High-quality games with high-quality DLC and have given me no reason to doubt them. The only thing I hate about activision is CoD and any other yearly-release game with barely any changes.
@Zloth2 Not really. I dunno what moron would buy an xbox360 on top of paying a subscription fee to pay online JUST to get some DLC 30 days earlier, not to mention they would have to adjust with a new controller so they would suck for awhile. I just don't see the appeal other than pissing people off. Although I've never been affected by it. I have no qualms waiting 30 days, especially for a game like skyrim with so much to do.
Still not buying Crysis at all since you partner with EA. Even if you werent, would still buy it used just to piss you off. Tired of these greedy people.
Comparing ACIII to the likes of Street Fighter X Tekken, Major League Baseball 2K12, Mario Party 9, and SSX? Really? SSX and SFXT are popular sure, but ACIII is on a whole nother level, and I haven't even finished ACII yet. As for preordering, I only do it on games I THINK will be sold out on release day or if there's something I want in it (RADNET edition on Prototype 2, for instance). Otherwise, no.
yeah, it annoyed me not knowing who the heck James Vega, Kai Leng, and the whole deal with the illusive man is. I don't even know cerberus in ME1, then you're butt buddies in ME2 and everyone hates them (what?), and then you're enemies again in ME3 (wut?).
