wow i agree with everything so far on this topic, they do need more generational equality, i mean i doubt some 17 year old sword weilding teenager can actually handle the world getting destroyed, i mean c'mon, sure if the person is mature and similar to squall or cloud i can understand, but i mean tidus in X seemed like a very immature character and i was surprised he did manage to make it through the game, but yuna was more beleiveable because she knew what was gonna happen what she was gonna do, not some big headded athelete that could probablly get his ass wipped for him
i dunno i mean if they make a really terrible game, and its like reallly bad, i don't think everyone will just up and and leave square-enix, i mean most people if you really enjoy the series, id atleast give it another shot, because the company might realize they screwed up and create an amazing game, and if no one where to be loyal no one would realize how great this new game really is, i personally wouldn't just leave i would stick it out. unless they made 2 terrible games in a row, now thats a different story
final fantasy VIII was my first and favorite final fantasy, the story was extremely epic and the leveling of monsters i thought was good, because it gave you a challenge all the way through the game, and the junctioning system was great too because contrary to what some one said earlier as renzokuken being the only thing that can kill enemies quickly if you have your stats high enough you can take out most enemies in 1-3 turns, thats pretty quick, i always thought FFVII was overrated, i went into the game having huge expectations, sure the whole meteor thing and sephiroth is kick ass, but having some crazy woman destroy or compress time itself is more evil if you ask me
Are you people living under rocks, they have made a sequel, its called advent children, if they did make a sequel it would be like a sequel to the sequel and i think thats what DoC is. They should definatly remake it thought, new graphics (get rid of those freakishly skinny arms) keep the same music, the music was amazing, just update it into better quality, some new materias and sidequests would be appreciated. The battle system should stay the same! the FFVII battle system was super easy to use and unconfusing, but they should make new materia combos and maybe add a FEW features to the battle system but dont jack it all up and make the new features overwhelming and pointless, or if they can't accomplish that just take the new features out.
