Wow Cows seriously lost it this gen. From PS2 and it's unquestion dominance in games, exclusives, dev support and sales, to bickering from last place about whether garbage like Wonderbook and Fable Kinect counts for ownage and how their 2 hour downloadable games are better then the biggest exclusive all year, Halo 4... It's been a long, hard, savage fall for them.
While I enjoyed NSMBW on the Wii as I hadn't played a 2D Mario since the SNES, I don't see how people could be hyped for the 4th one after playing the previous 3. Good as they are, they're all pretty much the same thing. Looking forward to new 3D Mario, not so much this one.
PS3 got demolished in every way by 360 and/or Wii. WiiU and Nextbox will be even better, meanwhile Sony is trying to prop up a failing Vita and PS4 is nowhere in sight. GG cows...

PS2 blasted Xbox into oblivion. it wasnt even close. Even 3rd party studios were exclusive to PS2. We've seen nothing like that this gen. 360 doesnt really have any more good games than last gen. Halo, Forza, and Fable are all carryovers from Xbox.
This gen, Xbox kept all it's western support, added lots more Japanese support, PC games, XBLA games, casual Kinect games, etc. PS just added some western support that was often belated and buggy. (inferior multiplats, waiting for ports, patches, DLC)
PS3 has improved no doubt but it's more like the Xbox of last gen then PS2. PS3 has got great hardware, lot's of multiplats, and some great exclusives. It's a solid console. But in the same way Xbox was beaten by PS2, PS3 has been beaten by the weaker console with more good games, the 360.
