@NeonicTrash: But he's right though, it was just a glorified tech demo. The characters were lackluster and generic while the story was overly cliche and a little racist (white guy comes along and out-natives the natives?).

The only thing it had going for it was the superb quality of the 3-D and the CGI.

It's funny. Avatar is the highest grossing movie of all time.

But. . . I can barely remember anything about it. It wasn't memorable at all.
