Write an e-mail to Bobby "the greed" Kotick (you mentioned Call of Duty) and present your idea to him, maybe he'll do it!

Either buy a used xbox 1 and more than just the one game you want (you'll probably find more, at least I did. it's not like it doesn't have any good games) or don't buy it and you can only hope that MS will make it BC (which is unlikely). I see no other option. Maybe you know someone who will give you a special discount for his/her xbox, but you would have tried that already I guess.

Well, since you started those games I suggest you finish those first, if you want to know what happens next.

As someone mentioned play ME before playing ME 2. You need to know what happened in the first one I suppose, it's more enjoyable that way. You can get the first one cheap anyway and it's not like it's a bad game by any means.

There isn't much diversity in Prototype and it's pretty simple, so it's ideal for short sessions.

I dont know about Halo 3 just try it out.

If you haven't played that one yet, I'd go for Assassins Creed 2. Other than that, you pretty much have all sandbox games worth mentioning already. I doubt that you haven't played any other GTA games in the past. If not, buy them.

Microsoft says both is possible, so I'd say that it doesn't matter if you worry about overheating.

I recognized that if horizontally put, the whole side that is on the floor is very hot. If I put it vertically, only the small part where it stands on is hot. But to be honest I don't think that it matters much. Some guy who repairs consoles said it would be worse if you put it vertically but I doubt it.

Anyway, I have mine horizontally.

I haven't played anything of your list except for Mass Effect and I agree. In my opinion, it's a shooter with rpg elements.

1. GTA IV is just different from other GTAs, not better, not worse. However, GTA IV makes GTA III and GTA Vice City look ancient, but they're still fun if you haven't played them.

2. Stating that a game is "repetitive" just tells me that the person didn't like the game and that's it. What do you do in racing games all the time? Racing only. Strange that nobody says it's repetitive since it's all about the same thing again and again.

3. I laugh at people who write "consoles/PC/the 360/the PS 3/the Wii are/is so much better than the others!", they just can't afford the others or can't appreciate them which is their problem. The funniest guys however are those that say that "all console gamers are stupid". That's like saying Europeans/black people/muslims/gays/whatever are stupid.

4. Ubisoft should stop trying to make Prince of Persia for children and stop making films thinking they would get more money if they release both which is laughable.

5. SC shouldn't be a co-op shooter but stealth game,

6. Far Cry shouldn't be a simulation of Africa only,

7. RE should stop being a co-op shooter as well,

8. Riddick shouldn't be a shooter either (stealth),

9. Sega should make games that are more diverse in gameplay and games that don't feel like arcade games from the 80's or 90's.

10. Activision should change its top management and focus on game quality.

11. Nobody forces you to buy DLC, so just ignore it if you don't want it.

12. I haven't played World of Warcraft yet, haven't even tried it

13. Bioshock is a philosophical game that couldn't have been more diverse and I don't understand people who claim it's just another shooter, its a mix of different genres

14. I don't care about multiplayer in games, that's why I'll never buy Halo or Call of Duty if they stay like that.

15. The worst mistake you can make as a publisher/developer is releasing a game like Alan Wake on the same day as Red Dead Redemption or Resonance of Fate in the same week in which Final Fantasy XIII is released. Considering that there are almost no games released now, this makes them look even more foolish than before. Maybe they are masochists.

Considering what Kotick said, this doesn't surprise me. I predict that there will be many people who will accept it. However, I'm not one of those. Only Call of Duty I got was the 2nd and it was used. But hey, as long as the masses buy it it will still exist.

@guy above: If you've read some news, Activision's top manager said several times that he (meaning his company) would like to

1. have a subscription fee

2. get money from xbox live, since so many people are playing it just for Call of Duty (he said 60 %)

If that doesn't tell us that you'll have to pay a monthly fee what else?

Funny, I got 10,000 yesterday. But to be honest, they're just a distraction. Is there a possibility to turn them off? The only times I actually care about them is when I look if there are any things in the game that might be interesting to do, like a wheelie.
