@thequickshooter: As long as Uncharted 2, 3 and 4 are "new" games, or Assassins Creed, or Halo, or Call of Duty, etc. everything is fine... Right? :) Just kidding...

The main thing here is: Your taste (plus trolling) Vs others taste (without trolling). You just cannot argue about taste. If you like MGR, FINE, but to say it is better than "overhyped" Bayonetta is just YOUR point of view rather than a real argument. You asked for exklusives, you got `em. There's nothing as Mario Kart on the other systems, etc.

Played it for several hours now over the weekend and BOY, I don't want to miss these controls. The Third-person reticle was unreliable in the previous games at times, but here you can hit any spot you want in 1st-person view "on the fly". Sure, the old elements are outweigh the new ones and they did miss to add a classic control sheme, but this is classic starfox, not someting like Assault. And in the end, a lot plays so different that I almost forgot the similarity to StarFox 64. And the biggest plus: Star Wolf is a lot more cooler in this one (nice battles too!) and the Bossfights are awesome!

It's weird. No matter how much I see from this game, I don't know what it is about, what I am supposed to do, etc. But who cares? It looks great and I am looking foreward to it. Somehow...

But I think I would love to have at least the option for english (spoken) language. I just don't like some of the japanese melodrama acting.

And I'd love to play it, but please: Make a new world, get Revo back and don't make any stupid repetitions or other gimmicks again.

@Kiaininja:and you must be the typical "my girlfriend is tweezing her eyebrows but tells me taking it from behind is hurting like hell". ;)

But seriously almost everyone is saying they want the gamepad to be used for more than maps and such. Now (better late than never) Nintendo delivers and it's wrong again... without even trying. Sure, optional controls would be a blast, but at least try something before you judge it. Nothing is broken or wrong, it's just different.

@lucas182: try it first before saying that. biggest problem about this is not the missing, optional classic control, but people who don't want to try new things.

The reticle never was that accurate to begin with. It was in a space between you and your enemies, so hitting some tiny spots was always a bit wonky.

They should have made it just like they did with "4 Heroes of Light" and "Bravely Default": Both games were similar, yet very different. This however feels way to much like the previous game with a lot of "copy - paste" elements. Even worse: There's a lot of repetition given as well. Sure, same world and such... But still. Why didn't they use the moon setting for example?

On a personal note: I did not enjoy the new music and new jobs as much as the old ones. I even don't understand why there are two "white mage"-ish healing jobs and the same goes for the black mage.

And don't get me started on the "twist" this time around. It's not as worse as playing the whole game over and over again, but it just feels off once more. Maybe the clue to the solution is a bit beyond me (I may be to stupid for that), but I bet some players will be pretty much lost at that certain point in the game!

Overall it's nice to be back in Luxendarc, but it could be way better.

@facts23: you back the wrong horse here. I am none of those "I would buy it for 1 $"-people, yet I am against the massive marketing of square and fans (or maybe even FANatics) that buy EVERYTHING with the FF-branding. I know Final Fantasy is a sh**load of a franchise for square and that's good for the company, but why should I go all YAY about all this?

I am missing times when studios just concentrated on JUST making games, that's all. Everything you hear about these days, or most of it, is "we get a dozens of DLC at day 1, and some spin-offs. Not to mention five or six special editions. BUY IT". That just feels somewhat wrong to me.

Just look at FF15. I want to play the game, but it feels like I am about to miss a lot of the story without the series AND the movie. That's just a pain. I want to experience the game and it's story, not just a game as part of a bigger franchise.
