Short post,
it's been over a month since I sent my ps3 in, I asked when it's coming, they said originally I'll receive a new 80gb (bah, I sent in a 60) within the week. Well, I've heard nothing since, so, I emailed, a week ago, and recieved back this stupid form letter:

So, here's the problem, they didn't say how long I'll have to wait, and I all ready own PAIN, so, I'm getting a voucher for something I all ready own, and for some reason, a product the company makes is f'n back ordered? The hell? Are they not the supplier? This is ridiculous. That letter is obviously form, and they haven't even looked into it. I'm pissed.

I went with viewsonic because I've owned a number of their monitors over the years, and always really liked them. Also, I couldn't afford the high end 1080p stuff, like an Aquos or something, and it was the best looking mid-range.

So, the game shop I...shop...at (damn double shops, hahaha), had a special today, where if you bought any 2 games, you got one valued at 19.95 or under free...not much selection there...so, I bought Culdcept Saga (was on for 29.95), and the pre-order of Ninja Gaiden II (49.99 special pre-order offer), and picked Kengo: Legend Of The Nine for free, I've heard it's terrible, but, I don't care, might be fun, I love dark messiah and it got a 3.5, lol...

Anyways, so, here are the 2 games I took home:

And I pre-ordered Ninja Gaiden II, which may well suck, but, for 49.99, even if it sucks, I can trade it 1:1 on craigslist, thereby making it worth it to me.

I also pre-ordered Zoids Assault a couple days ago, but, that was full price :cry: But I love mechs damnit, they are so big and metal and cool...I blame society.

I made myself a new sig, wanted something clean and simple, what do you guys think?

after dealing with 5-6 drooling GTA IV fanboys for the last hour, I decided to ask you guys:
Do the hardcore, idiotic, flaming fanboys alter your opinion of a game?
If you see 40 threads in 20 minutes with more drool running off them than substance, do you still give a game a fair chance?
If you post your real opinion on something, and you get drool all over you, after the "special short bus attack squad" attempts to shove your opinion in your face, and fails, do you still want to play the game?
If a game is defined by it's hardcore faithful, does that make GTA a game for...quite frankly...unintelligent people, or is it simply that the unintelligent "special" types group together on the internet, since no one speaks to them IRL?

Another quick post, I'll do a full length very soon, been busy, anyways, my ps3 stopped turned on, not even stand by, just, wouldn't power on at all, called Sony, they said it's probably a simple problem, and to send the console to them, so I did, got an email of all things a few days later saying the system is fried, and I left my copy of gta iv in it, I said I did, because it wouldn't power up, so, no problem, they are sending me back my gta iv, but, what makes me bitter, is, they said in the email, like they are doing me a favour, that they are sending me a brand new 80gb machine...I sent them a 60gb machine...I really don't want an 80gb machine, since it won't play a number of games in my ps2 collection properly...games I play often too, like X-2, Ys: Ark Of Nepishtim, etc... So, that's why I'm bitter at Sony, they are doing it free, that's no problem, they are doing it quick too, no problem, they even alerted me that I left a game in the drive, no problem x3, but, sending me an 80 to replace my 60 SUCKS...so, I'm slighty bitter.

In other news, I have NO idea why I'm death to video game machines, they are kept in my apartment, which is nice and cool, wide open, aren't blocked, air is good (have an air filter running), no idea.
So far, I've lost:
2 xbox 360s
a Wii (OKAY, that was my fault, during a round of wii boxing, it got kicked very hard, Nintendo replaced it anyway!)
and now a ps3...

Meanwhile, my Dreamcast, which was just after launch, runs without a hitch, my Saturn runs, my NES runs, it's kinda mind boggling.

Sony did mention that the power source thing could be caused by excessive moisture in the air, which is highly possible, as I've been running a cool air humidifier for the past couple weeks to get rid of a real nasty cold.

Seriously, another short post, I suck lately,
but, the entire forum is trapped in this GTA fever, I don't care about GTA, at all, don't even want the game, I pre-ordered it online for my gf, but, seriously, it doesn't interest me. I feel pretty much alone in this, as every thread says "GiT GTA!!!!"...*yawn* Anyone out there simply not care about the game? I don't care if it comes out or not honestly, it's just not for me, they removed all the customiazation from San Andreas, it feels like a major step back in the whole freedom aspect...hell...promised things, like walking music, were removed...so...wtf is with all the extreme over the top hype?
