This year came to its end, like the previous, it brought us some awesome games. After GS showed us there opinion in "Best of 2008", I'm going to show to you my opinion about the best game of this year. *Note: I don't own a PS3, X360 and Wii (thought I played it by my friend) and a PSP, 'cause I'm not that much in consoles (if I would like to have a console I could now go and buy a PS3 or 360). I played most of this year best game on the PC (even thought I still haven't played GTA IV, just a bit, and one of the best game this year MGS4). Also some games are missing 'cause they are also PS3 or 360 exclusive, but I hope I catched all of the best game I played.*

Best story:
The World Ends With You (DS)

What do I have to say about this game. Set in modern Tokio, Japan, the game features Neku (spoilers) who fights his way through the underground (UG) to get again on the realground (RG). First he needs to pair with a partner, and then he needs to win a Reapers tournament. Even thought he had won the first tournament, he didn't get to the RG but his partner Shiki, but to enter the tournament you need to offer what you think is the most pressure for you. In the first tournament, Neku had off4red his memories, so you don't know almost anything about his past, beside that his name is Neku. In the Second tournament his offer was Shiki, 'cause she became the most presaure thing. In the second tournament his partner is Joshua, a very mysterious boy. Neku almost never believed him but at the end of the second tournament, Joshua jumped in front of a deadly attack, which is fired by the game master, the boss at the end of the tournament which is a week long. Again Neku isn't reborn in the RG and so he started the third and last tournament, but this time he don't have a partner, 'cause his most pressure thing in this tournament are the other players. If you want to now what happend in the last and most emotional tournament, get the game and play it.

Never played such a freaking awesome Survival-Horror game. It's one of my favorite games of this year, I'm going to write a review about it at the begin of January, till then better get it and play it.

If you played this game, and heard that awesome soundtrack which is one of the most important facts why do I like this game so much.

Best Sound Design:

Without this crusial part, the game wouldn't be what it is, the best survival-horror of this year, at least IMO

Even thought I haven't played the game it will get this award from me, I watched some clips about it and I once played it

One IMO most original IP in long time.

Never thought about more epic battles (boss fights) to be seen in one game

Best Action-Adventure game:

Survival-Horror is one part of AA genre,and that's why this game won this award

Best driving game:
Pure (PC, PS3, X360)

IMO the best driving this year (haven't played Burnout Paradise), even thought you're flying most of the time

Best Puzzle game:
Professor Layton and the Curious Village (DS)

I really like the english accent and the puzzle in this game

Best RPG game:
The World Ends With You (DS)

It already won some awards so it isn't a suprise to see this game here on.

Best Shooter:
Crysis Warhed (PC)

I really liked the first Crysis and this one was also very good, the runner-up in this categorie was Left 4 Dead

Best sport game:
Fifa soccer 2009 (PC, PS3, X360, Wii, PSP, DS, PS2)

Soccer is my favorite sport, so it was obviously that Fifa will win.

Best PC game:
FallOut 3 (PC, X360, PS3)

You probably thought you will not see this game in any award, but it's the best game I played this year on my PC.

Best Xbox 360 game (I'm giving this award on opinions I got while reading and watching some clips):

This month was just awesome when it comes to gaming but I can't say the same for the weather. Till Novembar 15 the temperature was always over 12 Celsius, but on November 20 15 cm of snow fall down and the temperature fall down, it was even -8 Celsius. Dead Space

The most original game of this year, alongside with Mirror's Edge. This survival horror game is a must have for every fan of this genre. You're a space engineer on a mission to repair the USG Ishimura but what you found there is something from you worst nightmares. Isaac Clark (your name) has to fight mutants (crew members) and most of the time the enemies are coming out of the vents. After 2 hours of playing the pop-ups of monsters don't scare you anymore but the feeling that someone is going to attack you in any moment don't leave till end of the game. This game is going to be my Game of the Year.

For some I've been away for 13-14 days, for some 5 days. The first 6 days of my absence was because of school (I got lot to learn) and then I came back for 2 days but just posted in 1 union and then I again disappeared because I got a phone call from my dad (my parents got divorced when I was 6) that my grandpa is very ill. I went there (about 60 kilometers from my home) on Saturday and he was fine. but on Sunday his health wasn't very good and he died that day. He was buried the next day (It was Monday so I wasn't at school and Thursday we have an national holiday) and I came in Sarajevo on Thursday evening and I wasn't on-line that day and yesterday. But now I'm back.

Now to change the theme, I got 3 new games and if you interested which one are they, you're gonna need to wait until I post my monthly blog (31 November or 1 December) so stay tuned ;). Now I'm going to comment all the blogs you posted when I was away and I missed this community and all of you, so see ya soon ;)

Like you can see I'm at LV.20 (0%) and now the nightmare starts. I hope I will made trough it till my 1 year anniversary on GS :D. Monthly Blog Union Anniversary

I'm in this union for just a month and I already feel like I'm a part of it. It started when J_K decided to write his monthly blog, and later to see what he have done in a year or to see how he improved in gaming skill and what he all got from the start till the last blog. That was a very good idea. After some time he asked 5_LD_5 to write alongside him. In the beggining 5_LD_5 said that it is a bit to hard. After some time they decided to open a union. They invated people and started a little community inside of GS. A month and half ago I went on GS and saw that I have 6 PM. I read them I saw that zxv added me as a friend. After half month I saw a blog from her with the tittle "September Monthly blog". I was thinking what this is and I read that blog and I said in myself that I need to do this also and so I started. I joined the Monthly blog union and almost immidietly I got a PM from the learder (J_K). He thanked that I joined and if I need something I just need to ask him. My first reaction was "wow". After I read all of the monthly blog I fell in love with the union. Then I saw the member card and emblems which you can get and I thought "this union is great and the leader is awesome".

At the end of October I decided to also make a monthly blog and that's what I have done and everyone said that it's very good for the first one and I was so happy. I used the monthly blog iconography to make it more simple for the one who are reading it.

All the people are like one familie and I would like if some of my friends would join it and start to write a monthly blog. Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls

The origins of Square's masterpiece, the Final Fanatsy series. In FF I you control 4 peoples who want to restore the light (they say "grace") to the crystals. Before ebery crystal (Earth, Fire, Water and Wind) you must defeat a fiend (Lich, the earth fiend; Marilyth, the fire fiend; Kraken, the water fiend and Tiamat, the wind fiend). After you defeat them and you restorethe light to the crystals, you discovered that the fiends are controlled by Garland (the first boss). He turns to be Chaos and after you defeat him the game ends after a short ending.
FF II, the first sequal in this series, doesn't have crystals. You are destined to defeat the empire. You're also able to find Chocobos (this is the first time they make their appereance). In the game you must destroy a huge airship called Dreadnought. Later in this game, the empire will destroy almost all cities, just 4 will remain. They will be destroyed with a cyclone and then you discovers that the emperor is in there. After you get in the cyclone (with a wyvern) and kills the emperor. Now you think the game is over, but no. The balck knight took the place of the emperor. When you come to him (he is vrother of Maria, one of your party member), the emperor shows again. He came from hell and gained new powers. You escaped from him and after that for and odd reason you need to get back to the same place to kill the emperor. You go thourgh the Jade passage and the new castle Pandemonium, and on the top, the emperor awaits. After you kill him with the help of the Black Knight, the game ends.
Overall this game is just an awesome game for all FF fans ;)

Elixir - one item without I couldn't beat FF the way I did. Your HP and MP got restored to full and you continiue your battle just like it just started.

Marche (FFTA) - the main protagonist in FFTA. He may look like a girl but he is really strong from inside. After he comes into a dream world caled Ivalice and he can escape just if he destroys all the crystals. In that world he become quite popular and strong, he joined a clan and brought it to the top, but he still wants to go back, but he know that he will be laughed out and punched. In Ivalice he has all that he ever wanted, but he said that he don't want to live in a dream, he say that everyone must confront the reality, not considering how cruel she can be. That makes him to the protagonist of the month in my opinion

The emperor - The main enemy in FF II. He started a war and wanted everything to be under his control. He kidnapped the Princess. He destoryed many cities and killed unknown number of inocent peoples. For the first time you kill him in a cyclone. After you got to his castle, he comes back form HELL just to fullfill his dream to conquer the whole world. He even restored the castle of Hell, Pandemonium. After you get to the top of the castle and defeats him, he still don't accept that he has been defeated and that he will burn in the hell. A truly Villian of the Month.

LBP2 already in devolpment! It wouldn't be something unusual if it were FallOut 4, Final Fantasy XIV or something like that. This is a level making game in which you can spend your whole life and they already are devolping a sequal? They could just make some patches or updates for the first one and everyone would be satisfied. The LBP marathon was on 10/17 at 11PM CET...

...but I missed it. Ok, this isn't a dissapontment but not of the month. Also I heard of some nasty bugs in Fallout 3 PS3 versoin. But the biggest dissapointment of the month in my opinion is that there wasn't any emblems for TGS 08. At least not yet...

BEST NEW GAME OF THE MONTH

Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway - I mean on the PC version which came out on OCtober 10 in Europa. It's a very good historical shooter game which I haven't completed yet so I don't know what to say anymore ;)

Resident Evil 5

The fifth, the biggest and most dinamic of all them. But where is the fear gone?

Looking at the presentations videos and the playable demos of Resident Evil 5 from the E3, people can't not to ask themself where all this has gone. Of course, if you was old enough to remember the first game from this series which we all played exited and checking every step in the Spencer Mansion, and in the same time getting the moves for a new created Horror series. The first thought which we got on our mind is how this new sequel of the series looks better than all this "scary" movies which are filmed on the base of the plot of this game the last years, and is 100% less boring. RE 5 never looks cheap, and the few playable level which were shown by the producer in Los Angeles, also. Congrat to CAPCOM, but for the producers and regisurs of the movie we just have to say that they need to look up to the Japanese.

Back to Africa

The plot of this new sequel is set 10 years after the incident in Racoon City, and the funny thing is, that that is also the real time which passed when we first played the third sequel (when we flied away from the city which is destroyed with the atomic bomb) till today. Since Leon Kennedy is tired from running across Spains hill and avoiding Ada Wong for no reason (and that's reason why he got negative points and some unpopular nicks), in the plot of ood sequels, his comeback has Chris Redfield who will, we hope that, know to use all the magic of his new partner Sheva Alomar.

What was Chris doing in the last ten years? Else from rescuing his sister in RE: Code Veronica, Chris joined the high secret organisation with a mysterious shortcut BSAA. After long researching we and I found the meaning of this shortcut: Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance and they are the new directors of our tired Chris who will spend rest of his life to destroy all pieces left by Umbrella, and that just because we wanted that. And because he looks like a real man, is good at fighting and knows how to fight with zombies, which we could see in the new sequel. For the search of the source of the virus, Chris went to Africa, in a country (we don't know the name) in the region where Volcanoes are very active and are the one who are to blame for spreading the virus, the people were able to localised the region somewhere between Ethiopia, Eritry and Kenya.

Action and Panic

In Africa, panic is spreading. After a short intro, everyone from there side, our main character get connected. that means our Chris, about who I don't need to talk anymore, and the beautiful Sheva, about which we would like to know more but the reliable sources from CAPCOM are stingy on information's about her, and for her autobiography we must wait for the game :cry:. In one of the first finished animations, were Chris and Sheva get united, the virus already has infected the town, now full of armed and raged zombies. The zombies are getting order from the lieder per megaphone (a new thing which is almost impossible to explain in RE) and there say to slice Chris and Sheva in fine pieces and then with much using of flavours, to serve it to Chateau Margauxu, year of birth 1978.

Co-Op is easier and it's in trend

And there starts a non-seen party, where the c l a ss i c players, who learned to play RE with much fear and little amount of zombies (read: low memory and hardware power), will have something to say 'cause RE5 is, just like RE4, a fight with zombies breast to breast. Zombies are attacking in great number and many times Chris don't have time to reload his weapon, but with his fast and trained moves he can use his knife and throw off the zombies, or when everything is over, he can use his uppercut who is better and more attractive from the normal punch. Chris, unlike the slim Leon, is more heavy and sluggish and he can't evade the attack so skilfully like Leon, so we can forget the hit with leg where more than ten zombies fall down. We can say that this game looks more realistic than the movies. Zombies, unlike the one in Racoon City or the one from the Spanish village, are much faster and skilled, and some zombies are better to avoid, like the 3meter tall giant who swings an axe, breaks wall and kills in two hits. In this RE you're don't need to open a door and before that to ask what's behind them and having fear will something kill you, like in the first 3 tittles where it was necessary 'cause the loading, now where there is no loading you can just crush the door with few bullets (somewhere a whole wall) and then take a look and see if there 2 or 3 hungry zombies or a whole horde. For the first time in RE we will have a equal partner Sheva who is controlled by AI, or in online co-op version one of our friends from the other side of the line. How will it feel to play in co-op mode with a friend, and how much words will we spend just to agree in something, we don't know, but like we saw in the trailer, Sheva is acting very good when she is controlled by AI - she is fast, good at aiming, sometimes she is greedy for little flowers and bullets which she likes to collect and give them to Chris. You are able to call her and request healing, which is very helpful when you're fighting a horde of zombies, and she will scream for Chris when the zombies put there hands around her neck. In that moment you are able to perform a combine attack and get rid of the attackers. You can get the best effect of this co-op when the team comes to an impossible obstacle - in demo there were two. In that moment, Chris will throw Sheva in the air and she will, with a acrobatic jump, land on the roof of the building, or on the other side of a hole and open a door which Chris can't reach. The problem starts when Sheva is been attacked by a horde of zombies and Chris needs to take them of with Sniper shots but the REAL problem starts when Chris, who is concentrated to aim an enemy, has been bitted from his horde of Zombies.

Damn Waiting

From everything seen, RE5 looks great, and gives a impress of a good game. Light effects, Sun which blinds you when you're looking at it and makes moving impossible and much faster, action oriented controlling will find a way to hearts of fans who were protesting against all the innovations even in the last sequel, and again they played it satisfied. CAPCOM will again make a awesome game, and ours is just to wait. The producers are sure that any moving of the date of release will not be, so we will be able to buy this game exactly on Friday 13th in month March in year 2009 and in the mean while we could play RE4 some more times.

Like the title say, I had some Internet problems, I wasn't on-line almost the whole week :cry: I'm back now and ready to post in the unions. Also I got 3 new games: Spore and Crysis Warhead (both for PC and I have the first Crysis) and Line Rider 2 (DS). I'm will buy MGS2 and MGS3 for PS2 for sure and I been searching for DMC1, 2 and 3 (my friend has DMC3 so I maybe rent it from him :D) Also if you have some games to recommend, that I should play before I get my PS3 then write them in comments (for PS2, PC and DS)

The title say "birthday" and today is my birthday. I was at school and my friends from class made a little surprise for me and I got some presents from them (I will not write what it is, but it's cute :)) Also today is the last day of Ramadan so no more fasting (we are fasting from dawn till sunset) this year :P Also I'm not going to school tomorrow and the day after tomorrow 'cause after ramadan we have a holiday called Eid ul-Fitr and it marks the end of Ramadan.

I will make this short. I have much job to do for school (homework, project, etc.) and I can't be active on GS:cry:. I will come back in 3-4 days ;). Please don't demote me in unions :) and I will read your new blog posts when I come back ;).

Yeah, school starts tomorrow (I wasn`t active the unions these last days, but I will come soon). The second grade in the Economic High School starts tommorow at 8.00AM and I will be at school till 1.00PM so don`t expect from me to be active like before till I get internet connection on MY PC (yeah, you heard right, I don`t have internet connection on my PC, but I will get soon, around September 15th).

I will write tomorrow how it was at the first day of school after the Summer Holiday. The Winter Holiday will start about December 26th and will last till 26th January, but I muss wait 4 month till then :cry: but hopefully I will survive :). That`s all and see ya all ;)
