Personally I don't understand how popular are news about "funny" mods, when the best ones are unseen by the press. There are tons of mods for this game, to improve graphics, new suits, the old Peter Parker, also remove SJW content. But the press is overwhelmed by the most ridiculous one, like that replacement of that boss in Resident Evil for that smiling train, when you can play with the protagonist naked. lol
The press need more mod culture, there are entire genres of games born from mods, like moba, survival, battle royale, etc.
@naomha1: On where you want to play, I am not going to give an opinion, it is your taste and I would only advise this: it would be great to adapt your tastes to what is most convenient for your life, instead of the opposite.
About the price, do you really think that you spend 300 + 400 + 500 on all three consoles, you open them and you are playing instantly? (because yes, you need all three to not miss any eccccclusiiiiiiviiii, right?). Ok, you already have them there, in front of your couch, but... you realized that you have acquired a monthly obligation: 10 per month, 120 per year, 840 for the seven years that you have been using each branch of console plus its own separated service. With that money you buy a NASA computer. But that's not all, games are on average more expensive. And wait! You still need a PC! At least a basic (but decent) one for your normal life, study, work, etc. How much have you been spending to play in the worst quality, with poor backwards compatibility, in LESS genres, for less time and without smelling a MOD, just to be on a couch? (this leads back to my first paragraph).
About exclusives, you basically said the same thing but twisted: that Nitendo doesn't port their games (I said you can emulate), that Sony takes ages (I said you should be very special not to want to wait until it comes to PC, in better shape, complete, with all DLCs and MODS).
I have more games than all consoles combined. Even entire genres, retrogaming, mods. Do you really think I can have time to "think about the need" for 1 or 2 console exclusives that probably would want? (and with all limitations of those toys). We keep playing Diablo 2, Baldur's Gate, Age of Empires... A game is something you want to return with renewed expectations. Think which system is closer to that principle.
PC gaming made all consoles obsolete since day 1, it is only some people still don't wanting to notice they can have more games than all consoles together, all genres, at the best price, retrocompatible forever, and with MODS.
But this is specially evident today, when all companies want to be on PC. You have to be a special kind of person to desperately need the few exclusives they have, unable to wait for their release on PC better, finished, with all the DLC, at the lowest price; or to not to be able to emulate a phone, called console, no one knows why. lol
I can't believe the world allows to trade with the biggest dictatorship, and the most active against liberty. Every UN resolution against a tyranny (Iran, Venezuela, N.Korea, etc, is boycotted by Russia and China, so the world can't do anything. And we still "trading" with them?
Ok, forget the tyranny, let's talk about slavery, or in nice words: unfair trade. They have slaves (or near slaves) working for millions, while we need to keep human rights, syndicates, high salary, etc. In which world it is a fair trade?
Now they the CP is influencing our movies and games with censorship at any word against the Communist Party.
Isn't a solution an iron wall in reverse? Like in the cold war, but from us as buyers, against them, like: "USA, Europe, Japan (and the rest of good countries who want to side us)", won't be trading a single rivet with China (and similar countries), until they guarantee real elections". And the country who trade with China and allies, ok, but won't trade with us.
We have antagonists systems, can't be 'best friends'.
That is the immense damage consoles have made to games: since one of the few genres that can be played decently with gamepads are 1st/3rd person cinematic melodramas, they made them the best looking ones and invested in high marketing to make the average of gamers think they are what a game should be. When is false, no one still playing a melodrama, real gamers are in WoW, Age of Empires, Baldur's Gate 3, or whatever real game right now. lol.
You recognize a fanboy of 1 console, or a SJW, when in their comment they are convinced that 4 snobs can tell us what they think is the best game. Hilarious.
Besides that everyone know when something is because money, instead talent. Truth: today no one is playing that cinematic melodrama, while everyone still in WoW, Valorant, Age of Empires, LoL, Counter Strike, Starcraft, Diablo, Path of Exile, GTA, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Baldur's Gate... you know, real games which never won a single award.
Fanboys and SJWs seems to desperately need that 4 snobs chose their tropes to feel relevant in video games. Well, you aren't. Sorry. No one believe you still playing that booooring melodrama. lol
