I payed $500 CDN for my 80GB MGS Bundle w/ Backwards C.
I feel that $500 was perfect for a Network Enabled BluRay player and a HighEnd gaming console. If you don't feel that $500 was a good price for what the system was at the time I think you deserve to be in a mental hospital or you need your GED.
No it doesn't.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_y_MhoQv3I :)[QUOTE="SaltyMeatballs"]Server browser, though I end up playing the same maps and mode. [QUOTE="anshul89"]
Server Browser. It takes me 10 seconds to get into a game of TF2 but on consoles it takes 2 minutes in MW2 and Halo.
anshul89
TF2 is faster for me because I've saved the servers in my favourites.
Bad Comparison. It includes intermission time which was the majority of the video. That has nothing to do with the matchmaking it was a developer choice. You have to create a loadout at the beginning of a match where as in CS you can do it whenever.

Why is this absurd and overblown? Is it because you don't use this feature so it doesn't matter to you? Other OS is part of the system people purchased and now Sony wishes to take it away. It doesn't matter if not all people use it, it was included at the point of sale and it should remain. It doesn't matter if it is a core feature or a small periferal one, it was still a feature of the whole that was purchased. You wouldn't agree to your car's manufacturer showing up and removing your spare tire, would you?asylumni
Spare tire is different .. You owned that tire it was included in the purchase. PlaystationNetwork you do not own it is a service provided to you at Sonys discretion. Install Other OS is still on your system until you update your system. No matter what you say Updates are optional the only feature you lose if you don't update is PlaystationNetwork which you DO NOT OWN. They have all the right to not let you use it if you disagree with their terms.
Sony's ownership of PSN does not give them the right to make any demand that they want.
They really can it is a free service they are giving to you. They are allowed to cut you off when ever they want and are allowed to change their ToU whenever they want. Even every game comes with a disclaimer saying they have the right to shut down online functionality 90 days after release. You have to accept Sonys ToU before updating the firmware and if you don't like it then keep Install Other OS. If you agree then accept it and lose it.Why would people complain over Linux being removed from a GAMING machine? I hated Linux on my PC because it lacks gaming support, so I can't imagine using it on an actual gaming console. What am I supposed to do, write up Excel Spreadsheets with a DualShock controller? People complain over the most stupidest things. Don't worry Linux fans, I am sure that some companies with create toasters and microwave ovens with built-in hard drives so you can install Linux on them.PandaBear86I just don't get why they don't just put linux on their computer I doubt these people are posting from their PS3 browser and I'm sure Linux will run better on their 5 year old PC.
