It's going to score an 8.5 or 9.0 here, certainly not a 10. I just don't see Gears having the wow factor anymore to warrant a perfect. Its going to seem more like a rehash than you think, when its all said and done.

Who cares what you think, this is system wars, only GS scores matter, and you can bookmark this thread. 8.5 or 9.0, no higher for Gears.

yea because a 9.0 would be soooo terrible...

and yet its going to be a kickass game that will sell millions of copies and be enjoyed by many...so i dont exactly see your point here...?

oh and as for the MGS IV vs Gears thing that seems to have evolved in this thread...i would give Gears the nod on technical graphics for the SP and MP. But MGSIV's cutscenes and art design is much better than gears'

i was hoping that at E3 Sony would do their fans justice and find some way to make the games they missed out on PS2 available for the PS3.

Now, i have all 3 systems:

On myWii i can play all gamecube games, and some 64, SNES, NES, Sega, etc...

On my 360 i can play some games that are BC and also hits from the Xbox Originals list (not many, but still)

On my PS3 i can play MGS IV...cause thats the only game i own so far (rented Drakes and Ratchet etc) and nothing else. For god knows what reason they took away the BC on the 40 GB models, which is the one i have. I was hoping by now they would give us a way to play the games from the PS2 since the PS3 is doing much better and holding out on PS2 games so people will buy PS3 games is foolish. Not many games come out in the summer and id love to get to play FFXII, or God of War II (played the first, not the second) maybe through a patch that would install software emulation or through the PS Store, but alas...nothing

Everyone seems to be copying everyone elses ideas so why hasnt sony taken this one yet...Whats the deal SONY???
