I can argue that all JRPGS are the same.
Anime-style character design? Check.
Cheesy voice acting? Check.
Main characters without shirts and hair so long and spiky that you wonder what kind of hair product they use? Check.
End-Game boss that has mutliple forms? Check.
wow that's even worse generalization than saying all italians like pizza

IF SALES DIDNT MATTER WE WOULD STILL HAVE THE VIRTUAL BOY and sega would still be making consoles. so yes sales matter
Not this generation. Sony, and Microsoft are invinicible they will never get bankrupt from the videogame market, they are both massive entreprises. Nintendo is the only one that needs to be worried, but from the looks they are fine.Nope, Nintendo have nothing to worry about, according to

The fact that they're the second largest company in Japan by market value sorta implies that they're doing just fine.
Of course Wii is good for the industry. To say otherwise is preposterous.
From a business/economic perspective, every Wii console & every Wii game & every Wii pheripheral grows the business. They bring in revenue to a large number of companies directly related to the business, thus the Wii MUST be good, because it helps grow these companies & their profits.
From a demographical point of view, the Wii is allegedly bringing demographics to gaming, which had previously been underrepresented on different systems. Elderly gamers, women & older men are all allegedly being attracted to the Wii by its unique control system. These purchasers of the Wii translate to revenue for Nintendo at least, and potentially to every game/pheripheral developer on the system. Furthermore, these people could use the Wii as a stepping-stone to other more 'hardcore' consoles as the Xbox 360, PS3 and to PC gaming. Whether this could really happen is a point of contention amongst the gaming community, but the potential for it to happen is undeniably there, which is a definite positive.
I was going to write more points, but I can't be bothered now. :)
I borrowed Ocarina of Time, but I got stuck near the beginning in that giant tree. Although I did beat Twilight Princess and love it.captfalc
 So someone else got stuck there, too. It plagued me for ages, that damn tree. (I'm not particularly good at video games, I just enjoy them).
I haven't finished Halo 1, and I haven't played Halo 2.
It's all personal preference. I prefer the 360 controller because I like the stick placement and the larger design. Also, the L2 and R2 buttons feel better and more "natural" to me.BioShockOwnz
I like the 360 controller for those reasons, too.
