I don't know, I was being stupid. He just seems like he's saying he's confident he'll be an officer in the future. You know, he is currently a recruit, as in right now, but not forever, but then again, he could resign as well. Now that I think about it I guess he could have written "currently" because one day, when he's an officer, people reading old posts will wonder why he said recruit. I'll think some more before I post from now on. I apologize for my ignorant posts. :(

It's simply because if I ever go up in rank that post wouldn't be true, if it simply stated recruit. Though I don't know what the actual ranks are, or if i'll ever go up.

I know. What i'm saying has nothing to do with their speed compared to other weapons, i'm saying that Balhier wih a gun is even slower than the normal speed of a character with a gun.
