I don't care if I get $1 per cd. I have about 100. I should have sold them four years ago when I got my iPod.

Go with RDR. I've beat the storyline and played a little online. It was a well-paced, awesome adventure game. There is something about the wild frontier that keeps you entertained longer than GTA (which I stopped before I even started).
Need for Speed: HPalso looks interesting because I love the chase aspect. Haven't played it though so I can't speak for it.
I just read the L.A. Noire first look here on GameSpot. Looks like an awesome detective adventure. Just tell me when I can pre-order!
[QUOTE="wooooode"]SOCOM is my favorite, I love the online and it seems to be the most balanced for realism.bussinroundsYea, that 3rd person view is so realistic. And the firefights ? Ppl doing that side to side dance crap, while shooting at each other. lol. Don't even get me started on it.
One quick question:
Is the Overlord DLC good for Operation Flashpoint: DR?
You mean overwatch dlc ? Idk, i got the overwatch & skirmish dlcs for the fire team engagements and haven't tried them yet. I'm only up to level 3, so if your looking for someone to play with sometime, add me if you want. psn-bussinrounds Sounds good. PSN: Artof_WarOne quick question:
Is the Overlord DLC good for Operation Flashpoint: DR?
Yea, if your lookin for single player or co-op. ( full campaign can be played with 1-4 players ) get OFP:DR. If your lookin for mp, i would go somewhere else.bussinroundsSingle player is all I'm really interested in for these games. It might be fun to do a co-op single player with someone on this board though.
So it's still good despite some glitches I've seen mentioned? Update: I haven't made my purchase yet. Right now OP: DR is in the lead with Ghost Recon close behind. I might just get both. I would imagine they are around $20, maybe even less.Artof_War
Dragon Rising is certainly tactical alright, but you might be surprised in how tactical it is, I was :P 1 bullet will force you to stop and patch up, and checkpoints are rare :?
1 bullet could possibly end you too. And if your on hardcore mode, there are NO checkpoints through the whole mission. ( somthing the original OFP didnt even have ) Another big thing is no hud or helpers. In other games when you get shot at, a little marker pops up showing you what direction the bullet came from. Not having this completely changes how you go about playing, especially when combined with those other factors previously mentioned. A negative to Dragon Rising is, when you go to your map, if any enemies are in view of your squadmates, they will show up on the map as a red dot. (More reminiscent of the original Ghost Recon ) In the original OFP nobody ever popped up on your map. It didn't even show your position on the map !! I didn't know what was going on when i started playing, i was like, where am i ? lol. So you REALLY had to have your navigation & compass skills goin'. I don't look at the map in DR during combat situations though. I want to be forced to locate targets with my own eyes, not just look at the map for the red dots and then turn that direction. I bought both games during lunch! This post just got me really excited to play OF: DR tonight. Perhaps nobody will notice if I leave work a little early. Hardcore mode sounds fantastic. No checkpoints, no hit marker, limited radar. So real I can taste the dirt I'll be forced to lie prone in...I'm about to take my lunch break and make my purchase. I'm going to get......
1. Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising -- It seems the most realistic. Vast landscape, 1-shot kills, and solid team-based strategy.
2. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 -- A similar realistic experience, albeit with spy planes and small supply cars. Better production value (graphics, etc.) than OF: DR.
I'll probably play Ghost Recon first, than go for the more hardcore experience OF has to offer. Thanks to all.
