Thats what a external HDD is good for, they are cheap anyway, just get a 1TB 2.5" External HDD, and plug into your PC, format as FAT32 (if you need to know how, just PM me), connect it to your PS3, and click the Backup thing, Im not sure if you can backup the copy-protected game saves though, gimme a while, I get back to you on that.

Awesome. Thanks man. What do you think about this internal HDD?

[QUOTE="Artof_War"] I read you. That's really cool actually. I'm not quite that crafty. I think I've settled on Western Digital as a brand. Any help on speeds? Does that matter much for PS3?GTR12

People say get a 5400RPM drive as they are the same speed as the one in there, but I have a few friends with 7200RPM and even 1 with a 10k Velociraptor drive, and its in a 3yr old 80GB console.

Great! Thanks for all the help. Now time to figure out the best way to back up all my Game Saves. Do you have a link to a good guide to the whole process?

[QUOTE="Artof_War"][QUOTE="GTR12"]

WD, Seagate, Samsung are all great, I just got the 80GB for internal, but I got about 8-9TB of network space for streaming to anything.

GTR12

So network space would be for services like Netflix? Is that a spec on the product?

No no oops, its just that I got alot of external storage, all over the house, multiple PC's, multiple HDD's all linked so its just 1 giant lot of storage. I think I just got you confused, dont worry about it.

Looking to order a new hard drive today. What brand do you recommend? Feel free to include size and speed etc.

Adblock Plus... I can't remember the last time I've seen an ad on the internet.

Animatronic64

How do things like that work? Is there HTML that identifies an ad, in order for Adblock Plus to block it?
