I got to save enough for My Wii, Zelda and an Extra controller... I made the arrangements to get it bought for Xmas time...but when my relatives went to find it... there was the Wii shortage.... No Wii for Mii :'( ...

I got the numbers from the Walmart near my relatives...And I'll be calling to see when I could get my Wii.
I'm really hoping the 2nd Wii Lauch method is aplied there, and hoping for my grandmother to be there the 17th to get one...or I'll be skiping Wiismas this year :(

Today...I was absolutely bored on this event when I walked past the VideoGame corner, and guess what???

They had a Wii!!! ZOMG!$"&
After my eyes rolled back on I just watched as the guy on the exibition played...I was actually advising him, because I had sucked every bit of Wii info on the net, and havent even touched it yet.
I went and bought a ticket for US$ 1,7 to play some Wii, and there I was...with the Wiimote in my hand playing some WiiTennis. I could confirm by myself that the strap was actually a little thinn.Also, I tought the Wiimote was a little bigger.. but it wasnt, It fitted perfectly in my hand. The console itself was preeeety small as I got to notice the previous day at a game store. The Wii precisely emulated my moves of the racket as I got a few perfect games in a row...(yes I played tennis in real-life). I was enjoying myself really much. Then the game switched to Baseball, as the CPU Mii pitched I tried to hit the incoming balls... I made a few hits and some runs, but I didnt get any Homeruns :(. It was easy to connect hits with only one hand, but when I tried using both I began getting hits more often :D. Three outs and I switched sides, pitching was as cool as batting, I launched some strikes at some 93MPH...amazing...then I tried some buttons combinations anb got some curveballs and other stuff....WiiSports is so Cool!!!! The game wasnt ending, and soon another guy replaced me....
I just had the most exciting moment in my life...my heart was still pumping fast and I got home with a big smile in my face :). Altough I would liked to get to play the other games....

So.... the Wii is finally out....
Its a succes, great launch titles, great features with more to come, and over all, great sales :P.

 Ive been saving since last year and I only saved enough for a Wii, an Extra controller and TP. Im getting it December 22th!!!

Im totally looking forward to spend my first few hours making some Miis of myself and everybody I can imagine.
The Opera browser isnt out yet... but Its looking great! It supports Flash, AJAX and other Scripts. Supporting flash means playing flash games trought the browser, and idea that also wiicade.com had, altought I had it first :P. Online officialy takes place next year...but by now you can enjoy sending messages and Mii and some of the current games that support Online.
The Wii is looking so damm sexy that I cant wait to get my tong....ehhmm....my hand on it :D.

Im tired of hearing people complaint about the wristwrap case... For god sakes! It was a plus! Nintendo didnt have the obligation to release it along the Wiimote....but they still complaint. So.. it broke...Its bad quality??? NO! Its just that you got so excited playing Wii Sport :D that you made exagerated movements, pitching a strike(along with the controller) at some 60MPH!!!. The only way the wristwrap wouldnt break is if it was made of steel wire!

So you need to stop complaining and beging to give more thought to your movements and motion.

Why the heck will Nintendo release a Next Gen version of a current gen title...dont know....but here are some thoughts:


-Ok, TP (Twilight Princess) will be released on both GC and Wii, being the only diference the controlling....meaning that everything you have seen about TP is GC esque.
This speaks about the graphic capabilities of the GC...and asuming Wii has at least 0.5 more power than GC, it will have beatyfull graphics as Miyamoto said.

-Its said that Wii TP will have some sort of Online features... This game was, and is being developed for GC, and was simply ported and adapted to Wii, so its almost identical. Developers have the posibility to update de game on Wii, but I really dont belive it...

-Gamers will the the posibility to buy it on GC and play it on Wii, as it has Backward-Capabilities, or simply buy a Wii version of the game.

-In my personal opinion, Zelda is to much important, to be a Learning Title, as I would call the game wich introduces you to this new console, and this new controller. I will buy a GC version, but play it on my Wii, as my GC will be crying on my closet :D, or maybe in some retail store :P.

Game Cube hardaware had a feautre that alowed 6 to 1 compresion of textures, alowing more textures to be hold on one disc. This way they could pack a DVD game into a MiniDVD game. Althought, because of the lack of that extra storage, they couldnt pack more complex models, soundtracks and other stuff, making ported GC games, inferior.

Games made from the ground up for GC were on PAR with the other consoles....
Even Miyamoto stated that he wasn't or hasn't been able to achieve a 100% usage of the hardware.

GC has more power than we tought, only that because of the lack of 3rd Party developer support... we didnt have as much good games as in other consoles.


Wii on the other hand uses full discs, meaning that a AAA GC title can be packed in a single disc, and there is space left. This means that we can see more complex games; Wii is similar to GC, so this compresion tecnology can be used as well, packing lots more textures.

Wii hardware also can output more graphics than GC, so games will be even better.


Xbox and PS2 developers had DVD storage at their disposal, they had this huge space to fill in, compared to later formats. So they used it with no discretion, puting in randomly, wasting space; On the other hand GC developers had to organize theirselves, to be able to fit their game on a MiniDVD. This way of discipline will be aplied on Wii, meaning that they will pack lots more of content, using the full potential of a DVD disc.

Ok, It has to be admited, DVDs are not Next-Gen, they where the main format of Xbox and Ps2, althou GameCube used Dvd, they where MiniDvds, that didnt hold as much as full dvds.
Many GameCube ports where as big as the other versions, even with reduced disc space. But they had lower graphics because of that.

The fact is, more poligons, models , textures, equals better graphics, and this equals more space.

The reason X360 and PS3 need more disc space is because of HD-TV.

Wii doesnt have HD-TV, so it will do just fine with common DVDs.
Nintendo figured how to make games on par with the other sistems, with their smaller discs. So Wii games could hold more information, better graphics, more gameplay... whatever.

Think of a GC like game, like Twilight Princess, its a game developed for the GC, it has like 100 hrs of gameplay, this is alot, but a Wii game could hold much more gameplay, because they have much more space.

We are going to see Huge games, with a LOT of content. Think a Oblivion like game, this can be achieved on Wii, and think automatic updates throught WiiConnect. this generation will be a gaming revolution...

IGN released their specs, claiming that Wii will be a little upgraded Xbox, and everyone believes it...But hold there, there is nothing bad with it, Xbox had great graphics(Halo 2 and stuff) so, Wii would have better graphics than Xbox. Xbox was priced at about 300 dolllars I think, so you will be getting better than Xbox like graphics, along with the free hand technologies, WiiConnect24, everything else!...
for 200 dollars(very likely). This is a great deal!, because over all, GRAPHICS DONT MAKE FUN!!!.

All Nintendo great titles, Virtual Console and even a browser, Wii will obviously own Sony and MS

Insert your disc on the slot loading drive, with the touch of your finger, no disc tray. This sorrounded with a gorgeous blue light, glowing...

So, many people say Wii has lack of graphical output, wich is not true, because Wii look stuning, and atonishing, and will hold its own next to PS3 and Xbox360. The other Wii added features compensate for this "LACK", people say.
