@Thanatos2k: Since NBA 2K comes out every year they don´t have the exclusive License - its just Madden and Worldwide Football doesn´t matter that much. The NBA Live Titles are still not NBA2K,but they are not bad...just not as good.
The Online-Problem was patched already,it was a bug.
I played it through with a friend in 2 evenings...it wasn´t a bad game,it just wasnt anything really worth mentioning. The lack of a progression-system is also a bit annoying because there is not really a reason exept achivements to play it again. And those are really hard because the KI-Comrades are taking almost every time the last hit on enemys.
At least the DLCs are free, but overall I prefer Warhammer Vermitide 2 which is better in every aspect.
...and you don´t know a lot of games as it seems.Batman Arkham Knight, every CoD since years,Nier Automata,Quantum Break...you can go on an on but in most cases the fans had to fix the games themselves to make them passable. My last bought PC game didn´t even work because the Devs forgot to support AMD Cards at all. At the end the PC is just used for Early Access Games, but the big ones are long time gone. Its a development Plattform, not a gaming Platform and they prove it every few weeks.
I know you don´t want to hear that since you paid loads of money to have the best experience, but in the end you pay just for bugged half-finished games who can´t use the hardware because no one buys the expensive cards and that trend didn´t change since Laptops came up.And if you don´t have a insane expensive Laptop, those games are useless as well because devs are still not optimizing for their customers.Since I worked in the industry for a few years I experienced it first hand.
@lonesamurai1: Since you are a PC Gamer who is used to bad ports of AAA-Games (which sell bad on PCs so devs don´t do anything more then needed) I think its pretty stupid crying about MS exclusives...since they are the last ones who try to push the gaming market on PCs.But hey,cry about the bad companys, but it is the customer who destroyed the market. They pay much for games on Facebook or extreme cheap prices on Steam, but don´t buy games with high system requirements because the hardware isn´t worth the money.
Fun Fact: Almost every Review says its not different egnough to consider it a second part in the Series and at it´s core almost the same game.
And yes, there are even Low Budget Products who are far better then the new God of War.So what? And does a rocky Start of a good second game (and this is the core of almost every review as well) make it a bad game, just because it recived reviews that are worse? Where is the logic in that?Almost EVERY second game gets worse reviews, because the formula isn´t new anymore and the expectations are almost unreachable high. In this case it was - for such a small indipendent Team.Which doesn´t make it a bad game, its pretty good.Just not what people expected from it.And it got bugs, which got kindly overlooked in the first game. The most Reviews are not even from the final Product by the way, they are based on the beta code - I actually played it and it wasn´t even close to the awful Status always discribed.I even spoke to others and yes, there have been small bugs but nothing serious so far.
@lonesamurai1: And there are hundreds of Games on Steam that are worse and cost full price who are less ambitious. So whats the point?
Yes,it is a XBox branded game,it got Cross Play (which has nothing to do with it - everyone can do that) but in the End its not a game developed by MS,its a game by a small Indie-Studio. Plus: It isn´t a bad game at all - it is just buggy.Gamespot gave just one of the lowest ratings worldwide. The first one was buggy as well at the release date and still considered the best game of its genre.
MS didn´t make this game. This is a small Indie-Studio which just released a 30€-Title.MS are just the Publishers. And wow,a AAA-Product with hundreds of People working on it performes better?Wow.Didn´t guess that.
