Heh, Cool

I just got back from a Fall of Troy / Dir En Grey / Deftones, concert.

Me and my friends have this on-going gag where at every concert we go to we yell, "F*ckin' Slayer!" all the time. Well during The Fall of Troy's set, in between songs some dude was like, "DEFTONES! WOO!" then someone else was like, "DIR EN GREY! WOO!" so I was like, "SLAYER! WOO!".

Then they started playing the intro riff to Raining Blood.

It was truly awesome.

Raiding Tombs, in full.

Got the new Tomb Raider yesterday, tis fun.

That is all for now.

Had to buy it through steam though, which kinda pisses me off, just because I hate waiting for stuff to download.

Dance! Online? More like Lame! Online... :(

So I finally got around to download Acclaims latest project a DDR clone/MMO, headed by the one and only Dave Perry. I've been apart of the beta since way before it was even released, but never actually bothered downloading it untill now.

So far it's been kind of hit and miss. It's got a Simple interface, and it lets you choose to play on keyboard, or pad. But doesn't mix the two, which is a very good thing, because they have seperate step charts, and some of the keyboard ones are REALLY nuts. On the other hand though, the Pad step charts are mind-numbingly easy. there are only like, 3 or 4 songs on the max difficulty out of 6 pages of songs. Also, it's nearly impossible to find a game of people playing on pad.

The community is also very hit-and-miss. Nearly all the games are in the "beginner" server, which isn't that bad of a thing, but going to intermediate usually has games with people playing easy stuff, or has some idiot in it that sucks majorly and keeps bugging everyone to turn the difficulty down.

Ontop of all that, the stepcharts in general are pretty much balls. None of them seem to be on sync (As you might be able to tell in my video), and like I said, the keyboard charts are generally pretty good, but the pad ones are stupidly boring.

Anyway, I'm done ranting, just watch the video.

Portable game to the MAX

After greatly neglecting my DS for MANY months (I got it in october and had only bought 1 game for it since the initial purchase) I decided to drop some cash on some DS games.

Finally picked up Mario Kart (Friend Code: 103180 563324) Yeah I know I'm WAY behind on this game, but untill now I've never really felt the need to own it. Everyone I know who has a DS owns the game, so I got my share of mario kart all the time.

And I finally picked up Portrait of Ruin, a game I've wanted for quite some time (Friend Code: 133245457404). I'm enjoying this game greatly, so far. This is pretty much the game I needed to get me to play my DS for more than 10 or 20 minutes at a time.

Besides that I plan on picking up Kirby's Canvas Curse, I hear thats really good, and possibly Lunar Knights.

So I have this friend...

Who had a graduation party today. Me and the two other people I normally hang out with (who are also friends with him) went and got water balloons and were throwing them around outside.

First thing that built up to me getting really pissed me off: I went inside to try and get josh (my "friend") to come outside. I was holding a water balloon over his head, and made a comment how they (him and his girlfriend) wouldn't come outside and were just sitting inside counting his money. So he says, "Yeah well if you would have stayed in school you'd probably have a lot of money, too".

Low **** blow. I told him to not try to throw that **** in my face and just went back outside.

Second thing that built up to me getting really pissed off: We hit his house with a water balloon or two and he comes outside and goes, "Don't hit my house with water balloons". So like good friends we throw balloons at him and his house. He cowards back inside and has his girlfriend try to tell us too. Naturally we do the same thing.

Meanwhile his parents aren't saying anything to us. It's just them two, so obviously its just them being jerks.

We don't go back inside because we were pissed about them being dicks to us and telling us not to get their house wet. So we leave back to my house (Me and my friend Russell).

Third thing that ended up getting me more angry than I've been in probably my entire life: After I get home and talk to my dad about how they were being complete **** about a little water, and how Josh did that low blow about my not being in school, I call josh, because It dawned on me how much of a dick thing that is to say something like that.

The conversation starts out with me saying, "Congrats and all about graduation... But don't EVER **** try to hit me with such a low-blow like you did. I'd like to see how you deal with your mom dying. He replies with a spineless, "Okay". I then go on to say, "And about the water balloons. Get over it. It's just water." He angrily says, "But you were hitting MY HOUSE." I respond with, "Your house gets rained on." from here on everything I say he weasels out the response, "You need to learn how to grow up." and he ends the conversation by hanging up after the 4th or 5th time he repeated that line, with an added bonus of, "And get a job". Spineless.

Now I'm not a very angry person. At least when it comes to people (I'll get mad at a video game or something quite often). But I was probably the most pissed off I have ever been in my entire life at someone after he hung up on me. I was ready to sprint the 2 blocks to his house and beat the living **** out of him. But I calmed down, and ended up taking my anger out on a milk crate with a baseball bat.

I just don't understand how he feels he's so much better than me that he can tell me how to live my life, when he has to hit below-the-belt and pretty much insult me for my mom dying.

Sorry I just needed to get that off my chest.

It's alive!

Back in febuary I bought a metal dance pad, 2 months later it stopped working.

Well today after attempting to get the $175 waste of money working again, I actually fixed it! Although I'm not sure how I fixed it... I just kinda plugged it in, checked all the arrows, they worked, so I put it back together. But that's still awesome.

I've only played twice since the beginning of april, and can still get an A on Max 300 (heavy) =D.

The only problem is that within the time I got the pad working, I moved all my stuff into my room, and there's pretty much no room for it.

But nevertheless, IT LIVES!

Raiding them Tombs.

The Tomb Raider Anniversary demo came out yesterday and I must say, I'm very impressed. You see, I was never into the Tomb Raider games on the playstation. I couldn't stand the controls and I just wasn't old enough to figure out the puzzles. I had played the demo for Legend a little bit, but not much, and was never compelled to buy it.

But after playing this demo I am instantly reminded of why I loved Prince of Persia, and ultimately why I disliked the sequel (Warrior Within). Call me dumb, I don't care, but I played that demo for at least 3 hours trying to figure out what to do. It was in no way frustrating though, and I actually had to find a FAQ on what to do. And back on the PoP subject, that was actually the last game I recall ever having to use a FAQ to complete... and its just the demo. I can totally see the appeal this game had back in the day, and I hope the rest of the game is just as non-linear as the demo was.

So with that said I am definietely buying the game when it comes out, and I will also be purchasing Tomb Raider Legend, because It's only $10 on amazon.
