Japanese Gamer "Marries" DS Videogame Character.

The gamer fell in love with the virtual woman named Nene Anegasaki while playing Love Plus, a dating simulation game.The aim of Love Plus is to court and build a relationship with one of three cartoon-style women, but virtual romance was not enough for this particular player, identified only by his username Sal9000.

Last weekend he became the first person to officially pledge his love to a video game character in a ceremony at a technology festival in Tokyo.The couple's special day was witnessed by dozens of computer game fans and overseen by a real-life priest, although he stressed that the "wedding" was not official or legally binding. However, some reports on computer game websites state that Sal9000 had earlier married his digital bride at a chapel on the Pacific Ocean holiday island of Guam, where wedding laws are less strict.

Japanese computer gamers are known for taking an obsessive approach to their hobby, and Love Plus is the latest game to develop a cult following.Players are expected to spend hours with their virtual crushes – buying them flowers, taking them for dates and making future plans. The girls alter their behaviour and personality in reaction to how they are treated.

Hey guys,

I recently completed Dragon Age: Origins and decided to do a 'Quick review ' of sorts, meaning its not INCREDIBLY detailed or that long (been REAL BUSY) BUT it certainly gets my thoughts of the game across.

Im now super excited for Mass Effect 2 in late January..

So im checking my e-mail to make sure Modern Warfare 2 was still preordered ( which it was ) when i see an email from amazon about 20% all anime volumes, so i click on it to see what it's all about and not only was it not '' ALL '' ANIME... iT WAS ONLY CODE GEASS!

So im watching like the greatest anime of all time, Darker Than Black because the Second season is out so im re-watching the first before i go onto the second to refresh my memory so to speak...

When a pop up appears ( weirdly erotic.. no?)

Of course this is only a picture, the actual pop up had WATCH ME NOW! in big letters (possibly some strange hentai? 0.0).

Lastly but most certainly not least, i go onto youtube ( as you do ) scroll down the home page and in the '' recommended for you section'' is a Q and A of Johnny Bosch doing Lelouch's voice >___.>... So does it get better as it goes on?.

So im slowly working my way through Magna Carta 2 ( currently stuck early on in Disc 2 ) and i gotta say there are things that annoy me about the game like, bland portraits of characters talking infront of a somewhat plain bakcground instead of cutscenes or the unoriginal Story ( typical JRPG stuff ).. but there are things i feel people arn't giving enough credit, like how the Quest system helps avoid the retitivness if grinding or the FF XII/ Ifinite Undiscovery Battle system ( and i hated FF XII ). Basically although it doesnt try to be ewpic is deffiently enoyable.

- I know that alot of Korean '' anime '' women have large breasts but seriously >_>. There not even that big in the game.

Anyway moving on to my quick thoughts with the Dragonball Raging Blast Demo that hit the XBLM today...

I think the game has seriously improved over burst limit...

- Slightly better enviroments and effects

- Slightly more destrucibility ( no nearly enough in my opinion though )

- Animations look alot better

- Im liking the new Right stick control scheme.

However, even though it's only a demo i could already see room for large improvment..

- It worries me that you couldnt transform into a Super saiyan when playing as regular goku ( only a demo, but still )

- the Enviroments look like they always have mostly

- Needs more Destructibility ( the fighters are firing high energy lasers into the walls and floor, atleast show some kind of deformation... )

Not facts, just my opinion on what i feel worked and didnt work in the short demo but we shall see when its released in about 3 weeks :D.

The game is as close to perfection in terms of story and gameplay ( and graphically of course ;) ) which is rediculous that a game is '' THAT '' awesome, it has such a sheer number of memorable moments init that im most certainly going to go back and re-complete this game on hard and crushing mode.

I would have to say though that im not looking foward to trying to get that trophy for killing 10 guys in a row with one punch after softening them up with gunfire.

That and the fact that i felt the final boss battle could of been a little better, but that doesn't take anything away overall. I know this isn't a review but, the writing was amazing, the voice acting was fantastic ( just like the first game ), oh and did i mention the graphics....

As the title says, I will be creating a Semi(?)-professional Voice acting Demo reel for the purpose of auditioning for Fandubbing, now i did study Drama at school and do a semi(?) hero voice when i was younger but now my voice is much deeper we shall see how it goes...

But thats as far as my experience in terms of '' acting '' goes, so we'll see what happens and even though Fandubbing isn't paid im sure it would be a blast to fan dub something (even though we all feel the japanese version is far greater).

The only thing left is to buy a stupidly expensive microphone and start practising my range :D.

50 hours in and after constant playing i stopped playing Tales of Vesperia just before the final boss battle, which is strange for me but there you go, i finished it today finally.

The games not perfect but its damn close to what i would want in a good Tales game.

Review is up for all to see ( i think :/ )

Now im waiting for the PS3 version which is supossed tp be an enhanced version with new story and characters so bring it on!

I had no idea this game was even out in the UK.. But apparently it is, so i brought it.

Now honestly i havent played all that much of it ( only around 20 to 30 mins) but i got a pretty good idea of what the game is and that is... Disgea 3.

These two games look extremly similar and play alike in terms of battle system, however coss egdes battle system has a bit of a learning curve.

Oh it also has Trophy suport aswell :D.

Personally, this game isn't going to win any awards and has a pretty shallow story (like disgea )but id say if you enjoyed Disgea 3 you need to play it..

So im on Wikipedia of course and came across Johnny Yong Bosch's page and here's what i find...

EDIT-He was the one that captured Saddam Hussein, he helped win World War II and liberate the concentration camps, trained Bruce Lee, and helped Moses guide the Israelites out of Egypt.
