Well done EA. You have accomplished to ruin what once was the "savior" of the survival horror genre and one of the best ip's of this generation of consoles.
Respect. This only show all the respect that Naughty Dog as a developer deserves in therms of respecting its fans and gamers alike. Too bad that most of the kids here just don't get it. Has naughty dog ever disappointed you as gamers? And now you're bitching like little girls because the game was delayed for five weeks in order to raise its overall quality? Grow up.
@Monkeystrummer Yeah, I see what you mean I fully agree. Even the way you had to work for your money and the way the npc's behave and spoke, it was just great.
@biggest_loser @Duke_51 @pal_080 I don't remember much by now, but I can recall satires against the government, the conspiracionists, bankers, pharmaceuticals, politicians and political forces, new riches, self made mans, the law and its dark side, land speculation, war and warlords, exploration, slavery, etc...
@Monkeystrummer And the funny thing is that the Red Dead background story feels so actual. You have Assassin's Creed when it comes to historical settings to explore the human relationship and interactions that took place. AC2 is magical. : )
@biggest_loser I'm not just reducing its story to what Mr. Marston did or didn't do. I mean the big picture, the political and social background of the whole story. Heck, even the movie you watched at the cinema in Armadillo was a strong satyrical metaphor to our days.
Red Dead Redemption should have an honorable mention here when it comes to a good, very well constructed, mature and very violent story. It is also introspective and reflects somewhat what we're going through today with the world cryis, in what our society is turning to (vices, upbringing and education) and how the government controls our lives. It's very, very metaphoric actually.
