@davsonamission imo microsoft and sony dont need to worry about phones not even tablets. xbox 360 PS3 its all about heavy games and co-op games. On a tablet you cant play like 2-4 ppl at the same time its a total deferent expirience as for nintendo as long as they have mario and pokemon exclusive there is no need to worry either from the million of fanboys that are blinding buy every single game.
@PeterDuck and go and see what happend when the RAM is not enough for a game, the game not even started or if it does it show only he half screen jesus!!!!!! mr. IKNOWABOUTHARDWARE
@PeterDuck yeah ok whatever yo usay bro what i told you about GTA 4 its a fact, do you realy believe that if you play lets say witcher 2 and from inside going outside suddenly the game will take more space of your RAM wtf....... you need a brain stop playing every game that is out there and get a life and brain and dont tell me that you know about hardware if you knew you would ask on the first place ''Why did my FPS go up when i was inside the in-door areas?'' if you knew you wouldnt disagree with me about the RAM etc. so go drink your milk turn off you PC and get a life +brain
@PeterDuck you are new :P infront of other believe me :P Now as for the RAM that you refer to.PS3 use XDR RAM this RAM run on 3,2GHz!!! as you can read is very fast. I will give you two examples so you can understand it easier why GPU playing more role on FPS Than Ram and why i say that Ram is not making FPS going up. The first one is with crysis 1, this game was never able to make it on consoles the reason is simple for someone that knows a lot about hardware, this game needs a lot of speed on GPU a speed that RSX was not having so the game was able to get on 60FPS(i mean playing all the campaing with no less than 60FPS) only on later GPUs on PCs (GTX580 and above). Then we have the second example GTA IV, this game if you run it on full graphics with HD resolution you will need 2,5GB VRAM even some of the current generation GPUs cant run it, so lets see test number 1. set everything on minimum GTA IV need 1,5GB RAM, a normal GPU with 1,5GB VRAM can run it easy. Test number 2 set everything on medium GTA IV need 2,5GB RAM with 1,5GB VRAM can run it easy too. Last test 3 set everything on max GTA IV need 2,5GB RAM with 1,5GB VRAM you cant run the game when you are outside only indoors you need 2,5GB to run it normaly outside. That's it! I had try it my self its something that i didnt read it anywhere just try it out to understand better the hardware years ago.
@PeterDuck @lmaocarrots and that's the deference when ppl were playing games on 1990 they knew about hardware and how it works nowadays gamers are causal and dont know a shit about hardware. no offence bro, this is for almost all new gamers.
