Taking advantage of the fact that most of their competition have folded or are struggling badly - Blockbuster gone bankrupt for the 2nd time this year, HMV already closed loads of branches and still struggling, Game / Gamestation already closed loads of stores and also struggling.
50GB is huge for an install, but lets face it - harddrive space is rarely going to be a limiting factor on a gaming PC when 1/2/3 TB harddrives are so readily available.
I think this will be more of a decision for those without a fast internet connection to download it and have to order a physical copy instead.
@Erick Thanks - that does make sense - they don't want you picking a good distant ability but refunding the ones on the way to it across the skill tree.
Nice video of the game. This is something I've vaguely been aware of for a while but never got round to checking out. As I've enjoyed Diablo, Titan Quest, Torchlight and a few others I'll have to give this a go.
Think I'll waste a lot of time just looking at that skill tree trying to work out a good build though!
Is there any way to respec points in the skill tree, or are decisions final?
Give Captain Obvious a medal for his outstanding observational abilities.
It's not like anyone pointed this out both before and after SimCity launched.
I wouldn't mind giving SimCity a go, but the pricing needs to come down - not paying 150% the price of a normal game 6 months after launch for the core game, or paying the full price of a normal game for a piece of DLC.
