The obvious answer is that there would be no game. God only knows how long ago the key was originally made, so making another one wouldn't be too difficult anyways. Then there's also the fact that Drake also wanted to find Shambala. Keep in mind they didn't know anything about the tree of life, nor the properties of the sap until well after Lazaravic got involved.
No, but I'm more selective about the games i buy these days. Last week I got Uncharted 2, Batman and Brutal Legend on the Toys'R'Us deal. Uncharted I was going to get regardless, but had they not worked out to $30 each the other 2 wouldn't have even been considered.
Only trohpies I have left are 75 kill streak and all treasures. Looking like im going to need a guide to get the last 16. I dont think I have it in me to explore every nook and cranny of every level again.

same here I did Phalanx, Knight then went to The Storm Shrine and went through that entire place. Wasnt too bad of an idea, I've found the last area full of flying Irwin killers to be the best place to raise your soul level
If you're looking for a Champions type of game, I'd recommend Sacred 2. It's very mass carnage button spamming with little story. The best comparison I can make for Demon's Souls is Gothic 1 and 2, just a bit more hardcore minus the open world feel.
Yep, yellow light here too. Kinda sucked that t happened a week before Demon's Souls which was my most anticipated title of the year. Didn't bother to get it fixed as it was well out of warranty and for $150 more i could get a slim. Ill make the attempt to fix it myself some day when im bored. Until then it sits on a shelf.
