Went to go pick up my copy of Uncharted 2 today, and figured that since there was a big deal made about the Toys'R'Us 3 for 2 deal I'd go there and see what they had. Well, got my copy of Uncharted but nothing else there really perked my interest all that much so I settled for Batman: AA and Brutal Legend.
I'm looking for opinions about these 2 games. Are they worth keeping? There's a local store that buys and sells new and used games near me so I figured if I could get at least $40 per game unopened (not sure about that) I'd be getting Uncharted for basically $40. Any opinions would be appreciated.
Moderator note: Pssst....check the stickied threads. There's a recommendation one right there ;)I'm assuming that you legally obtained the game from a retailer that broke the street date? Don't worry, as long as you paid for it, Sony won't "punish" you.
Sadly, my PS3 bricked on me last night. After searching around and coming to the conclusion that it was dead, I decided to spend the $300 on a new slim since my old one was well out of warranty. Getting the disk out of the drive was simple enough, and it's not like the system itself was worth anything so I figured "why the hell not?"
Myabe some day ill really put some effort into trying to fix it myself. Until then it'll be sitting on a shelf collecting more dust.
No the PS3/PSN cannot get a virus. Is it just me or does this question popup in the forums every 3 months?hiryu3Technically, they COULD get a virus. However, someone would have to design one specifically for the PS3's OS which isn't likely to happen. The typical Virus you'd get from a questionable website wouldn't do anything to a PS3
Personal opinion but I would say none. Too me PS1 games don't deserve a place in today's market. They are outdated and should be rendered obsolete. I'm not one for nostalgia. Don't hate me, it's just a personal opinion and probably an opinion that's not shared by a large proportion of individuals I'd imagine. There are too many great titles being released present day to even consider a trip down memory lane.JackalJnr23Well, you're wrong but it's ok. That's almost like saying no one should bother watching the Godfather or reading The Lord of the Rings any more. There are plenty of movies being produced and books being published today. As to actually answering the question unlike this other guy. The Tomba series and Alundra. Alundra is on the japanese store, and it make me very very angry.
I put it into stand by then flip the switch in the back. Unless you turn it off directly from the back while the hard drive is being accessed, it causes no harm to your system other than the normal wear and tear to the PS when you turn it back on. Even in stnad by mode, it's still using electricity. Very little, but im not a wasteful person.
