How is the HAF-X case?

Air-cooler or water cooling for the cpu? Whats best

szafto

Of course, if you have the budget, water is best. But not everyone is willing to deal with the bit of maintence of water.

I would recommend getting the i5 2500k as it comes with an unlocked multiplier for overclocking. Even if you don't plan on oc'ing now it is at least an option later on.jtcraft

Also, if your adamant on not ocing for whatever reason, you can pick a cheaper mobo.

If budget isnt a problem, you can do alottt better then that. However if you dont list a set amount and only list you want bleeding edge tech, the amount of $ might be beyond what you were expecting.

Dam that sucks... Im running the resolution at 1920x1080 60Hz, got a 27" monitor its just what it set it to default. I know mu graphics cards not that great but i expected a bit more than this... also running the game at lowest settingsDAMAGExCONTROLx

If you want to game at that resolution, your gonna need a much stronger gpu. A 5450 just isnt meant for anything beyond basic videos and etc.

its a good deal the one thing i would change is the psu i would go and look for an 850psu anyways with good coolin u prolly reach around 4.8 with that i5 2500k!!

As for me i have 2600k and at 4.6 i could go higher if i didnt have 16gig

SPBoss

850 is overkill, look at a 650watt and you can run any high-end single GPU.

Yh 650 is more than enough, amperage is more important anyway, anyone no high high I can clock it with the standard heatsink?

Depends on your ambient temps, and your chip. But if you dont have to raise the voltage, around 4ghz is what Im guessing

Do you have 4x4? The more ram you have, the harder it is to get a good OC.

Whiteknight19

i persume so lol anythink above 4.6 is BSOD even setting the voltage abit low so i guess 4.6 is max with having 16gig of ram

Dont lower the voltages if its unstable above 4.6, means you hit the ceiling at your current voltage. Try bumping the voltage up a little and see if it boots, unless your using too much voltage already or the the heat is too much during a stablity test.

Don't know about the other games, but BFBC2 requires a quadcore to run well.

BattleSpectre

What will BFBC3 need to run well?

There isnt a bad company 3 being planned yet, If you mean Battlefield 3 however, your i5 will handle it fine.
