[QUOTE="Azzurri22"]The DLC adds a ton of gameplay since it raises the level cap and gives you more missions and enemy types to kill. Overall, the DLC is solid, and you should definitely get the GOTY version over the regular one.Hey guys.
I'm considering finally picking up a copy of Borderlands. Question is, do I pay a little extra for the game of the year addition with the 4 add on packs or do I just go with the basic version and save a few pennies?
So yeah, what are the add ons like, are they essential or even worth having at all?
Any advice will be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Thanks man, much appreicated, most of the DLC does seem well received so I'll be looking to pick the GOTY version up for sure.
When I pick it up is a different question though, as Borderlands is one of 3 games i'm considering right now, the other two being Modnation Racers and Castlevania : Lords of Shadow. Any recommendation on what order to pick those up in, or which to pick up first? They're are relatively evenly priced over here at around the £15 - £20.
