i'm so tired of people complaining that they hate Too Human just because they didn't like the demo. i understand some people were excited for this game and they were disappointed by the demo, but posting in multiple threads, and even starting one just to bash a DEMO? come on.. you gotta grow up sometime.

and for the record, no, i have not played the demo, and i don't really plan on it. if you like it, great, if you don't, good for you, but i for one am tired of everyone getting flamed for liking a demo. even though this game has been through years of developement, if it is fun to just 1 person, than the developers have done their job. obviously not everyone is going to love this game, but for those who do, leave them alone about it and stop trying to persuade them not to, just because you can't handle a different control scheme.

sometimes i don't know if these forums are made up of mature gamers who actually want to have a legitimate discussion, or if gradeschoolers just want to make threads to get everyone's attention.

This thread made me laugh.

First off, as already stated, the next Call of Duty is going to be callled "Call of Duty: World at War" ... not "Call of Duty 5" so the title is lol worthy. I also think it's funny how the TC thought he could influence some one not to purchase a game that has not even been released yet. We don't know the content of the game except for the trailer and screens shots, so how could you possibly trash it? And just because Treyarch is working on the next CoD, doesn't mean that it will be a bad game. Obviously Treyarch's Call of Duties are successful, or they wouldn't be in business to make the next one. I'm not sure wether or not I will buy World at War, but I know I'm excited to see it and play it, as are a lot of people. In my opinion Call of Duty 4 was not perfect in any way, in fact it got old to me after a while and it's hard to get back into. But it was good while it lasted, so, I think that Treyarch can take what Infinity Ward has done with CoD4, and put their own spin on it, to make a successful CoD game, like they have done with previous CoD installments, which really weren't that bad.

But, no one can judge this game, until it comes out, and they play it for themselves. So, to the TC and anyone out there who has been influenced by him to not buy this game, try this thing people like to call "common sense" next time. But then again... I don't think 5 year olds have really developed that yet.

i'm in the same boat as you. i only have about 4 games for the 360 and want to expand my collection. and since i'm getting paid today, i'll probably go out and get Oblivion tomorrow, and i'm really considering Battlefield: Bad Company. i've played Dead Rising, and want to pick that up too because it was so great. There's so much that i want, i'm just limited because i don't have all the cash in the world to spend on games.

but whatever you get, just make sure it's something you really want, and something that will last you a while, because you don't want to waste your money, considering all the other expenses of life... namely Gas in my case.

*cough $4.15 makes me want to kill something *cough

but then again, it's probably more expensive in other parts of the country, but it's still crazy.

so what do you think between GTA IV and BF:BC? I'm probably gonna pick up Oblivion at the same time for sure, but between those two games, which is gonna last longer and give me more for my money - based on singleplayer/multiplayer. just for the record i have played the BF demo and love it. what would you guys recommend?

go ahead and laugh at me, but lately I'm getting bored with Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3, and I still lack some CoD 3 achievements. I love the series and kinda want to go back and play some WWII again. The multiplayer was pretty good with the vehicles and stuff. I'm not sure how you guys feel about the game, but I personally really enjoyed it. I rented it when it first came out, but never bought it. Seeing as it's probably really cheap used at EB Games or whatever, I was thinking about picking it up, and a couple of other old used games that I could get pretty cheap, because my collection is a bit small, and I want some more gaming options. I was just wondering how the online community is on there, if anyone knew, because I wouldn't just buy the game for the single player.

thanks in advance.

I love Call of Duty, but lately it's been starting to get a little old. I mean infrantry can only be so fun, especially when its just death match and stuff. I know CoD has other objective based gametypes, but that's something that games like Counter Strike and the Battlefield games do better.

When you bring into consideration the destructible environments, the unlocks [not only just guns, but also the other gear] the amazing objective based gameplay, and the vehicles, you can see that Battlefield really does bring you an awesome experience. I don't just think the vehicles make CoD better, i think even without the vehicles, comparing BF and CoD's infrantry.. BF would win. Another thing I like is the ranking sytem, i know CoD has one, and a lot of games do now days, but I like Battlefield's better.

I'm not flaming CoD or any of its fans, because I love it too, I'm just tired of it at the moment. I think that Battlefield: Bad Company would be the better game, and I've only played the demo for this one.. but before everyone starts pooping on themselves I'll just say that I've played the majority of the other Battlefield games, and have always loved the series, and I didn't just randomly start with this game. But I plan to pick this one up sometime soon.

Here guys check this out. It's from Xbox360fanboy.com :

"..Yes, starting on July 7, Halo 3's newest map Cold Storage will be available on Xbox Live Marketplaceabsolutely free. Not only that, but Microsoft will also be lowering the price of the Legendary Map Pack from 800 Microsoft Points to 600 Microsoft Points. The best part of all is that these prices will become the permanent prices of the content. In other words, Cold Storage and the Legendary Map Pack price drop aren't part of the limited time, one day only Bungie Day goodies that will be on Marketplace. Joy!"

So it's not free, but its a price drop. Hope that helps a little.

I think competitive gaming is pretty cool. I wouldn't participate in it myself, but I respect those who do. I play for fun, not to win or lose, and I have more respect for a lesser skilled player with a good attitude, than a higher skilled player with a poor attitude. In my experience, MLG players are usually great at the game, but have such a bad attitude that I dont even want to play with them anymore. I would much rather be on the losing team with a bunch of cool people than be on the winning team with people who flame everyone else at every opportuniy.

I like the idea of MLG, but I don't like the overly-cocky, disrespectful attitude some of these players show. But that's just my opinion..
