Hey yall, im experiening a slight problem when playing the enhanced Witcher. I have it on max settings and not till last night(4 days into playing it) it froze up, had to restart computer. OK this mourning it was loading really long maybe 5 out 10 times. And i mean one time it took forever, so my question is do i need to get better ram(OCZ gold6g) or better HD(Western Digital 640G) or perhaps another GPU(GTX 285 for my 1920 x 1200). Will any of those make it loading times better or quit freezing OR is it just a bug, something like a glitch? Thanks for your input

Yeah I would like to know too, because ever since I been gaming on my PC, my left hand starts to get numb. I ordered the Razor Mamba and it will be here on Monday, now im reconsidering if I should have got a more ergomomic one and maybe invest in a good keyboard as well.

[QUOTE="BOONE123"]Ok so i think im getting these civilization games mixed up, but from what i gather, i need to go ahead and order this one off of impulse and want be disappointed right or is there a better RTS(which is what im kinda in to at the moment) out there that i need to play first like Civ 4. Oh yeah i have a 360 and loved the Civ Revolution which is what got me hooked on RTS in the first place.THANKS for the infoSpaceMoose

Well, to clear on thing up, it not a Real Time Strategy (RTS) game. A game like Warcraft III or Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 or Warhammmer 40,000: Dawn of War II is a RTS game, meaning that....well, kind of like it sounds, there are no "turns." The game just keeps moving along regardless of what you are doing. In the case of Total War, the map portion is turn based, but the combat part is real time. Most games are one or the other though. The combat in most of the other games tends to be simpler than in the Total War games, but on the other hand there tend to be more unit types and as a result of it being simpler, and the computer opponents tend not to do some of the utterly foolish stuff (at least on harder settings) that they do sometimes in Total War combat, as the option to make unit positioning blunders simply isn't there.

Galactic Civilzations 2 and Civilzation 4 are both turn based strategy (TBS) games. Unlike the Total War series, they are ENTIRELY, even the combat. Total War is actually pretty unique in the regard that it sort of combines the two genres.

I have not played Civ Revolution, but everything I have heard about it is that it's "Civ lite," which is pretty much what they were going for I guess. That game, while good, is not really the full Civilization experience at all. Civilization 4 is much deeper. I would not say that you'd be disappointed by Galactic Civilizations II. I'm just saying that I think Civilization 4 is a better game. That's all.

Another game you very well might like, which is also on Impulse, is Sins of a Solar Empire. That game is a real time strategy game, but it has a very relaxed pace to it, and you can even pause it and issue commands while it's paused if you want. My recommendation is still Civilization 4. That game still stands out as the pinnacle of single-player strategy games out of everything I've played. (It can be played multiplayer online, but that's definitely not the reason to get it.)

Yeah i know what the diff. is b/t Real and Turn base, thats my bad I should of put TBS for Civ Rev. And I loved C & C Tiberium Wars was awesome(RTS). OK so civ 4 would about World in Conflict

I loved Dead Space on the 360, which i havent had a chance to play on my new PC. Left 4 Dead was kind of repetitive though i will say the graphics and gameplay were great but just not enough content or level interaction. Dead Space was just awesome all around, I would go with DS.

its not, when idle it is staying around 1.5 and constant. (133.24 x 12)But like i said will this not make it run at what is required for the selected program and decrease performance?
