Well, it proves that this franchise has a huge fanbase.

Still, 9 millions in a week is pretty sick...

[QUOTE="OreoMilkshake"]Anyone know if you can play as any character in the single player or is it just Mario?DJ_Lae
Probably just Mario at first but you unlock the others after, kind of like Luigi in New Super Mario Bros. And typing that out makes me wish they could have chosen a better name. Almost anything would have been a better title.

Perhaps calling it Super Mario Bros 4 or 5 could have been an idea. Hmm...

Anyway this game will no doubt be an amazing "Blast-a to the Past-a", no wait, it will be a massive blast to the future of Mario games.

No, It will be a blast! Heheh... eherm...

Sega does what nintendon`t

simple, catchy, sega slogan during genesis? era. Still didn`t save `em I still prefer sega master system to nes though.

Do the math, Atari slogan for jaguar console

To be this good would take sega ages! commodore 64 slogan

Now youa re playing with power.. PORTABLE power, gameboy slogan

Now you`re playin` with power, nes slogan

Get into it!, gameboy slogan

Now you`re playin` with SUPERPOWER, snes slogan

Gaming 24;7, gameboy advance slogan

My friends are knockin down my door to get my commodore 64, commodore 64 slogan

That enough?

carthanne

Yea..... that sure was todays quote of slogans

[QUOTE="Backbonesalsa"]

Yes, this is basically a thread where you can post slogans from any console released, and what you think about it.

I'l start with this one, used in a Gamecube ad, found in a Donald Duck & Co. magazine :

"Life is a game"

I'm not entirely sure what this is supposed to mean.... That our entire life is just a game?, That the Gamecubes games are incredibly realistic?, You can do everything you do in real life in the game, so you don't have to go through all the trouble of doing it in real life? Is that it!?

Either way I don't think it fits much... and it doesen't really make much sense. I think it's a bad slogan. Perhaps that was what they realized too, as i haven't seen it anywhere else later on.

Arach666

"Mega Drive/Genesis does what NES doesn´t"

Good catch phrase and true at the time.

Thats opinion based :P but yeah it's a nice slogan. Though i prefer "SEGA does what Nintendon't" more

What's that the show whereall they cared about was making dimes and getting jawbreakers?

CleanPlayer

Yup. Quality entertainment rigth there! ;)

The animation were great, the setting was great, the humour was great. Most things about the show was great, exept that it ended.

It was the best of semi-sophisticated, slapstick humour. Too bad they don't make shows this way anymore.

This doesnt settle anything.

Zerocrossings

Uh-huh. This is just going to create yet another argument about which is best of PS3 and 360 and why everyone thinks the Wii is so bad.

So.... we are just as far as we were before this thread was made.

If i met Mario, i would probably be so dumbstruck that i coulden't have managed to form a single question. But if i could, i would have asked him a little about how he feeled when he first got to the mushroom world and got into the role as a hero.

...Also i would find out if he is flying an aircraft, or playing a videogame with fancy glasses and earphones.
