i say it once i'll say it again how can a system that has 50 millions units out in the world be the LEAST PLAYED SYSTEM, sorry the wii is a failure no matter how much it sells.....nintendo did what they have been doing since the gamecube days.......screwing over loyal fans of the 64.......the last great nintendo console.

Syn_Valence

Yeah, imagine how little the ps2 was played. Where have you got the assumption that the Wii is the least played system? It is in fact played alot (Neeeuh... Not only by grannies, but they contribute.)

Screwing ower loyal fans? Have you taken a look on the library of the Gamecube and Wii. All their major franchises got a quality sequel on the gamecube, some i even consider better than the N64 ones (Blasphemy!) and they also introduced some fun new franchises like pikmin and animal crossing. Same with the Wii only that we still await a sequel to starfox, F-zero and pikmin. The Wii has also more "hardcore" games now, than Gamecube.

And i'm sure some of the 50+ million who bougth their Wii's are happy with their purchase

Iceland *shudder*

The day I move to the US cannot come soon enough.

Ive heard Iceland is extremely nice and beautiful, though the cost of living is high (food, commodities, etc).

True, true...it's the ideal tourist place, since everything is ridiculously cheap if you use foreign currency. We've also got a weird cuisine and some interesting natural beauties. However, for us living here, the price of living is indeed nightmarishly high. Intrinsically, games cost around $100 here. Gaming was always an expensive hobby, but now...dear me.

Norway says "hi". You will have to search for a long time to find games at an acceptable price here...

Didn't the PS1 do this? Don't try telling me that everyone who bought it was a gamer.BattleTurtles

Actually, i think it was the Gameboy who was one of the earliest contributors to the term people call "casual" gaming.

And instead of aking a long post, saying what people said earlier, i'll just say that i fully agree with what you said, jimkabrhel.

It's high quality mountain water, made of pure, clean ice from norway.

Anyway, to be serious, they solved this problem by making a separate Air power meter with no affection on the Main life meter.

Perhaps he would have deserved it later, but this is just way to early. All this price does now is to put a lot of already high pressure on him. Some say it was to encourage him, but this just gives people too big expectations, so that even the good things he does becomes outshadowed by the HUGE things he was supposed to do.

I guess some is a little insecure about the Wii. I do see alot of people wanting to trade their Wii's in, probably for it's last gen graphics and games many consider to be childish.

I was a little insecure about buying the Wii aswell, but i did, and i'm quite happy with it!

Yea, but its hard to find an N64 now days and i just don't trust E Bay.

I wish they would hurry up with downloadable games, i miss them so much

PtothaWHAT

Well, i got myself a good working N64 and some games thanks to my cousin and some friends in schoo... wait, how's this going to help you?

Anyway, as most people have stated, Nintendo takes it's time with Virtual Console. Espicially the N64 section. Though i have some small hopes that Pilotiwings 64 is not so far away, as the SNES version was released a little while ago.
