also i've heard countless stories of moms going to ebgames and asking for a nintendo when they actually want a 360 or ps3. its just something with older parents, you say ps3 they hear nintendo, you say 360 they hear nintendo. the age barrier is a fact in this. the wii is not even just a fad, its unknowing people buying it because its cheap and unique. too bad the uniqueness wears off after about 5 min.

Wow, that's ridiculous, but it's funny that you mention this because I was flicking through the 'Christmas Buyers Guide' for a national newspaper here and the videogame section had obviously been paid for by Nintendo, because everything from the "Nations top 10 selling games" to "Editors choice" were all Wii games and no other system was mentioned at all - on a 4 page spread about buying video games.

Oh no, they did mention Mass Effect in the "Editors Choice" section, and I forgot the mention the page soley devoted to SMG.

more damage control.

Why would I damage control when I own one

You failed miserably.

The Wii isn't seen as the success it is because, on a software level, it's not a success at all.

The face that it's software sales don't come close to being as good as the hardware sales is testament to the kind of people who have purchased a Wii. Gamers are certainly not the majority of the Wii market.

Wii has over 13 million sellers, with PLENTY of game in the half way mark.

If you compare the 360's first year you'll notice well wii has more million sellers. So I guess that makes the 360's software sales crap?

13 million sellers ?

Link please.

trying to bash this game on graphics is just plain sad. lemmings trying to find ways to bash this game but sadly fail.hashyboy

Uh, and I think you'll find thats all Cows have been hyping the game for.

They need a graphics showcase in order to shift PS3's, because ultimately, sales are all the Cows care for.

It's rather sad.

Considering the only two big exclusive games the PS3 has for next year are MGS4 and KZ2, I don't see there much to be looking forward to for the PS3. The 360's lineup so far for 2008 looks much better.

We should just rename System Wars to The Abattoir.
