I'll tell you why. Office chair vs comfy couch. 19" LCD vs 70" HDTV. That's why for me. Also I want to support Sony for being the first to allow MODS on consoles. That's a huge deal and I hope it's a trend we see continue.

Oh so all the Cows fabled gaming PC's are just collecting dust then ? Perhaps they'll boot them up when BioShock 2 is released for the 360 and PC again.

It wont happen for a long time.

Sony are losing far too much money on hardware as it is, and they aren't recouping losses with software as games sell so atrociously on the PS3.

So are Cows to expect that games with any visual grunt to be in development for the same amount of time ? Is the PS3 really that poorly put together ?

Hmm, this is true - no doubt PD have spent an absolute FORTUNE so far.

Consoles used to be toys, until the market overtook the movie industry in terms of revenue and people started taking them seriously... that is until the Wii arrived.

Thing is, the Casual Buyer is going to assume that all videogames and consoles operate a kid-friendly environment like the Wii provides, further perpetuating the notion that games are only for kids, thus putting a redefined classification system on the backburner.

I like the concept of the Wii and I like that it caters to people whose gaming know-how begins and ends with WiiSports, but I honestly hope that the entire industry doesn't get tarred with the same starshine-and-moonbeams brush.

frankly it doesnt matter too much. theres gameplay of this game everywhere and visually its very impressive.

That's just it though - Cows are just hyping KZ2 for it's graphics and not the actual game.

The first KZ was absolute garbage so I don't blame them.

The only reason Cows are hyping its graphics is because Sony can use the game as a showcase to shift more PS3's - sales are all the Bovine care about.

And people wonder why nobodys buying any PS3 games :roll:

Yes, I'm going to buy the inferior PS3 version, even though I have a monster gaming PC that I use to play BioShock, Gears of War, and in a few months, Mass Effect and Halo 3 :)
